I prepare plans for drilling and blasting for two quarries in Croatia.
My main responsibilities include planning and controlling activities in exploitation and production on both plants for the purpose of optimal use of assets. I work on development plans and projects for process improvement. Furthermore, I actively participate in projects and in obtaining the documentation for mining works.
I am also responsible for implementation of exploitation and recovery activities in the quarry and for environment protection in all production phases.
I organize and supervise work providing instructions for all shift workers, including exploitation and dispatch workers.
I am responsible for the proper use of equipment and its compliance with technical parameters as well as for assuring the quality of final products.
Operate the plant in cooperation with Process Engineer, Technicians and Laboratory Operators. Operate the additive reception, raw mill, kiln and cement mill sections. Produce the raw meal, clinker and cement of good quality confirming to the QMS standards and the quantity target set by Process Engineer.
Monitor the quality of the products-raw meal, clinker and cement. Co-ordintion with laboratory for feedback regarding the quality.
