• OHS in- charge for 4STPs, 5PS, 15LS and Network of RAKWA - (Ras Al Khaimah Wastewater agency).
• Develop OHS Plan, Process and Procedures relevant to Wastewater Agency.
• Develop OHS relevant documents (PTW, Site safety Induction, Checklist, Forms).
• Develop annual and long term OHS targets and objectives.
• Prepare annual and long term OHS department budget.
• Evaluating contractor to award AMC for different services by reviewing their documents and employee competency.
• Prepare and review (HIRA) Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for critical activities.
• Ensure compliance of PTW and OHS documents requirements on all critical activities by Wastewater Agency and its contractor.
• Ensure all kinds of incident and accident are reported and recorded on time.
• Conduct and arrange internal and external training for Wastewater Agency employees.
• Control and evaluate contractor and monitor their activities during project awarded duration.
• Conduct OHS walk through to project awarded to contractors.
• Prepare weekly and monthly report and submit to management regular time frame.
• Ensure availability of SDS for all hazardous chemicals being use at RKWA premises.
• Conduct OHS weekly / monthly meeting with all department representative.
• COSHH assessment for hazardous materials and provide OJT / TBT.
• Generate and maintain HSE reports record as per the IMS procedure.
• Monitor and ensure OHS requirements and standards compliance on day by day activities and projects by RAKWA and Contractors.
• Ensure all the equipment being use are safe to use and have valid 3rd party certificates if required.
• Carry out inspection and prepare reports all RAKWA existence facilities and projects awarded to contractors.
• Ensure compliance of PPE use and its quality at day by day activities and projects.
• STOP all kinds of unsafe act / condition immediately and report the same to the relevant department / section in charge.
• Carry out investigation of accidents/ incidents and near misses and submit the final report to the management with corrective and preventive measures.
• Prepare report tracking sheet for all recommended corrective and preventive measures and ensure all recommended measures are completed on preferable time.
• Prepare and arrange Emergency Evacuation Plan/ Layout and arrange Mock drill at site.
• Ensure all kinds of OHS related documents are properly filled up and available at internal / external Audit.
• Ensure OHS hazards signage are available for different facilities as per potential hazards.
• Ensure good housekeeping maintain at day by day activities and project site.
• Ensure all types of welfare facilities are available at RAKWA premises and project site.
• Monitor and control of Contractor and Sub-Contractor at RAKWA project site all the time.
Comply with company HSE-Q Policy, Project HSE Plan, procedures and legal
requirements on site and ensure pro-active implementation to reduce
accident/incident
Development of the project Health, Safety and Environment and Quality plan.
Play a role in promoting HSE at the workplace to ensure continuous improvement.
Establish control and preventive measures to provide maximum risk free environment
for workers.
Carry out HSE-Q audits/inspections on site to check the status and effectiveness of
system and equipment.
Lead team on daily, weekly inspection and loss prevention inspection and checking
site condition.
Monitor or observe operations to ensure that they meet production standards
Recommend adjustments to the process or assembly
Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
Ensure easy accessible to protective equipment as part of safety measures.
Advising on Environmental restoration and management of Hazardous and nonhazardous
wastes (waste management).
Conducting meetings with workforce, staffs on weekly and monthly basis. Prepare
minutes of meeting.
Initiate and conduct accident investigations and prepare accident reports.
Review any corrective actions recommended for eliminating or minimizing incident
causes.
Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company
