Bulk Plant Supervisor Halliburton Cementing Aberdeen.
Currently supervising three bulk plants in the North East for Halliburton. Responsible for five plant operators including all health and safety aspects. Full control of inventory for all bulk powders and liquid additives at liquid blending plant in Dyce also the import and export of dry powders and liquid additives, Supervision over all high value cement blends and all chemical additive blends. Responsible for all maintenance and repairs to bulk equipment and responsible for an inventory of spares. I am IOSH trained and I possess a full competency folder accompanied with many training certificates. Currently part way through Assesor/Verifier training for SQA competency programme. I'm responsible for bulk team's ongoing development and work with all members to develop their skills yearly within their own PPR. Participate in weekly operations meeting to discuss operational issues and forward planning. Liaise with cement manufacturer in France and arrange shipping for bulk cement deliveries to be made to Great Yarmouth, Aberdeen and Peterhead. I was part of an audit team who conducted a full HSE audit on our cement supplier in Le Havre, France. Recently tasked with lowering yearly spend within the Bulk plants and looking for ways to save the company money without jeopardising safety in any way. I'm currently making monthly trips to Great Yarmouth to assist with the design and install of a new cutting plant and liquid additive plant for Halliburton at their Great Yarmouth facility.

Supervisor of the chemical additives liquid plant for Cementing PSL of Halliburton. Responsible for two Plant Operators including all Health and Safety aspects. Control of stock export and import for both powder and liquid chemicals. Blending of various liquids chemicals for offshore use. Carry out monthly inspections and quarterly audits of facility fully trained in use of bulk silos for cement storage at quayside and also the maintenance aspect of this role. Participate on an on call rota.

Senior Warehouseman / Lead Plant Operator, Halliburton Baroid, Aberdeen.
Dealing with shipping and backloads of mud chemicals from rigs. Operating and maintaining two mud plants in Aberdeen. Supervision of vessels loading and discharging in the harbour. Blending of various oil based and water based mud systems. All maintenance of pumps, compressors and valves. Assist test equipment department with repairing all equipment and chemical orders for rigs. Weekly and monthly calibration of equipment in laboratory. Deal with questions from offshore engineers and account reps on a daily basis.

Ensuring that tradesmen have all the tools and materials required and sourcing specialist items when required. Assist that with various tasks relating to the refurbishments of office, shop and banks. Taking responsibility for driving vehicles and ensuring pick up routes foe colleagues and timeous and effective.

Estimating and procuring materials from central store for kitchen and bathroom refurbishments. Ensuring that tradesmen had all material required to avoid unnecessary downtime. Driving of company vehicles and arranging pick up of colleagues and materials.
