RESPONSIBILITIES

•Support the UK Recruitment Account Director on the £30m Thomson Reuters account. Based on-site at this key account, provide various financial and managerial reports including budget vs. actual revenues; spend and trend analysis; cost savings analysis; headcount and churn, etc.
•Provide a superior level of service to the client Thomson Reuters, across multiple business units and departments, regarding all Elan related finance matters, in conjunction with prompt and accurate management reports (including spend, accruals and cost savings reports); managing and auditing cost allocations; dispute resolution, etc.
•Manage the account’s transactional operations to ensure processes function efficiently and accurately.
•Project manager for multiple large and small scale projects relating to the outsourced recruitment service.
ACHIEVEMENTS
• Identified problematic operational processes, systematically improving their efficiency and accuracy by implementing simplified and robust processes.
Significantly improved the collection period of receivables, bringing the Days Sales Outstanding from 53.3 to 26.8 days.
•Resolved all aged debt disputes from a peak of £4m, through analysis, effective negotiation with senior finance and sourcing managers, and from working closely with the procurement and finance teams.
• Managed and controlled data to ensure the availability of accessible and reliable information used for management reporting purposes and as evidence for dispute resolution.
• As project manager, worked with and managed global teams to successfully design and prepare the UK deployment of an online recruitment system.
