Carrying out diagnostics on various transformers type(distribution and power transformers) (33kV, 11kV, ) at
customer sites during planned maintenance outages
as per company and manufacturers specifications.
. Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs.
. Lead a team of technicians who support in assembly and reassembly of the transformers during the
maintenance outage
. Produce a detailed service report including all the inspections and tests which performed on the transformers
during the outage.
. Diagnose fault and inform the customer about the findings and discuss the repair plan and time required.
. Provide technical advising to ensure the maintenance outage will meet the customer’s expectations and
specifications, whilst considering Company standards and protocols
Provide on-site installation, service and support
. Support Sales team and project managers with Technical advice and Promoting the companies range of
products.
. Handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits.
Install Electricity Meters at residential locations such as apartments, duplexes, bungalow-style houses, etc.
Disassemble, remove, replace, and clean electric meters; examine internalmechanisms for damage.
Repair/ Replace damaged meters or specific worn out parts; reassemble and test repaired meters.
Conduct scheduled fieldtests of already installed meters as per history records.
Conduct regular maintenance and service of transformers and Ring Main Unit.
Assist in the leadership of onsite safety, compliance, and hazard recognition on the job site.
Be responsible for safety of personnel; track work assignments and work scope.
Adhere to work-related protocols as per Integrated Management System standards, which is a combination of ISO 9001 + ISO 14001 standards (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
Establish and adjust work procedures and assignments to meet production schedules and prevent downtime.
Plan and coordinate work assignments based on skills, knowledge, experience, machines, and tooling.
Analyze manufacturing problems; recommend measures to improve manufacturing process, production methods, performance of equipment, and quality of product.
Maintain safety records, sectional records, attendance, productivity, customer delivery, and quality reports for assessment by higher management levels.
Discuss and brainstorm with engineering and production personnel to devise measures to manage cost reduction, scrap elimination, new product development, quality control, and work assignment.
Enforce company policies, safety rules and regulations to employees; conduct meetings on safety and organizational policies.
Provide appropriate training to new employees based on identified training needs, company production processes, and business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.
Maintain a clean and safe work area to decrease potential safety hazards.

Perform tasks pertaining to transformer commissioning, erection, fault rectification, and maintenance in adherence to safety rules and regulations of local electricity authorities.
Inspect transformers externally for signs of damage such as cracks or dents in bushings, corrugated fins, or welded joints.
Conduct end-to-end pre-commissioning checks and tests on site prior to energising the transformer.
Check compliance of pre-commissioning checks for satisfactory healthiness of protection circuits.
Execute transformer observation protocols to check and monitor rise in oil levels and oil temperature.
Check and monitor accuracy of LV voltage; ensure absence of performance abnormalities.
Conduct thorough and periodic inspection of transformers and associated equipment to detect rust, deposition of dust or dirt, oil levels in thermometer pockets, etc.
Work in teams with professionals and specialists in Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and Project Management Teams.
Optimize production processes in order to maintain and increase its effectiveness andefficiency.
Assist Production Manager in developing Production Quantum for measuring operational efficiency and profitabilitycalculationof new investment.
Implement new production tools and equipment; evaluate their effectiveness.
Inspect and assess process performance of critical equipment; identify any causes of underperformance.
Coordinate with maintenance team on periodical maintenance to ensure equipment is in working condition.
Monitor production activities; ensure adherence to standard production process and quality.
Serve as Technical Expert for production lines to resolve technical issues and glitches during production.
Check final product quality; identify and recommend process improvement initiatives.
Train production workers on technical skills and manufacturing processes.
