Working from Requirements Documentation to create Test Scenarios, Test Cases and User stories to increase Test coverage. Setting up of the Test Environments. Testing of IPTV based functionality - from registration and account management to financial collection and reporting. Testing FreeView Play and Catch-Up TV functionality of DTV non-PVR and PVR STB's. Testing the consumption of IPTV assets ensuring that Parental and Water-Shed restrictions are met. Defect Reporting and re-creation of customer reported faults. Working with Development Teams to identify failures, performance of Root Cause Analysis and verification of SW fixes. Performance of Sanity and Regression Test Packs on SW releases for an array of products. Test Box design and manufacture, and make-up of Test cables and wiring.
Performance of HW tests - including USB, HDU, Low Battery Voltage reporting, operation with and without HDU - on DTV STBs to ensure functionality. Re-writing of Test Cases as requirements changed.
Working with a team to conduct a multi-site and multi-building Equipment Audit. Identification and logging of Customer, Client and subsidiary kit and sub-systems to ensure correct valuation. Creation and update of spreadsheets to track progress.
Requirements Verification and Definition of Design Validation Tests to ensure testability. Functional and Non-Functional Speech Control Testing of the Next Generation Infotainment products. Upload of latest SW and FW to Rigs and Vehicles, and performance of Regression and Validation Tests to ensure conformance to Requirements and robustness. Frazer Nash design and build battery-powered vehicles. Formulation of Test Specifications for their product portfolio, the design and build of the test equipment required and verification of all changes to Test Hardware and Procedures prior to formal release. I designed and built a variety of test equipment from simple switch boxes to a PC-controlled FPGA-based controller, which were used to debug and test the 2- and 4-wheel motor controllers.

I also designed and built a series of test noxes, ris and harnesses to debug and test individual boards and complete games controllers.
