• Execute end-to-end procurement of materials / equipments.
• Planning the procurement, pre purchase cost analysis & Quality assurance.
• Meet and Discuss with clients / end-users for understanding their requirements and budgetary allocations to source the requirements from the right suppliers / manufacturers.
• Evaluate Vendors and negotiate on prices and purchase agreements
• Ensure purchased materials are checked for quality and other specifications as per the RFQ / Purchase Order.
• Liaise with forwarder for Proper handling of the delivery.
• Keep a track of inventory of machines, spare parts, equipment, and materials at the site and FCS warehouse.
• Conduct weekly stock count as part of the reporting process for efficient functioning. Report is submitted to Supply Chain manager and project director.
• Conduct routine checks on newly acquired products / machineries for defective tests. Based on their serviceability and non-serviceability, they were quarantined and reported to technical manager for corrective actions.
• Received work orders from clients for warranty claims and conducted preliminary tests to identify criticality of defects. Provided weekly reports to management to update the status of work orders.
• Attended client meetings to represent FCS and collect all queries related to defects and warranties to report back to project team.
• Conduct Stock count on Month-ends and Year-Ends for financial reporting.
• Interfacing with customers, clients and suppliers to ensure best value for the company in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements.
• Conducted consistent market research for best sources for quality and cost effectiveness
• Handled cross functional projects to support business goals and objectives
• Coordinate with production and logistic department for delivery from port until handover to end user.
• Ensuring goods are delivered as per PO terms and meets the technical requirements specified during the order.
• Participated in productivity and quality improvement programs on the shop floor.
