Advised start-ups on a range of issues. Drafted employment agreements and promissory notes. Advised clients on
bankruptcy litigation, lien removal, and landlord-tenant disputes.

Drafted and edited motions for summary judgment, complaints, and other briefs and motions

Researched and wrote memoranda in areas of bankruptcy, tax, and litigation

Participated in staff meetings; attended hearings, trials, and appellate arguments

Managed and trained a team of 15 employees

Handled managerial and financial reports and paperwork, including: Sales Reports, Profit & Loss Reports, Inventory and Food Orders

Maintained relationship with customers, Del Taco corporate, suppliers and local businesses and community organizations

Compiled and drafted an S-Visa application, as well as complaints and motions in the areas of personal injury and landlord-tenant disputes

Interviewed and briefed clients with regards to their cases regarding personal injury, immigration, and land-lord tenant disputes

Helped coordinate and organize author events and embassy dinners for prominent members of the D.C. community, and professional workshops for teachers

Conducted research, specifically on climate change and the then upcoming Copenhagen Conference
