Job Profile:
Started career as an Account and currently working as a Senior Accountant in account payable section and deals with accounts payables functions, related accounting, payment process and monthly reconciliation of bank balances. This position directly reports to Director of Finance.

Responsibilities Includes:

 Prepares and/or reviews bank reconciliation, Journal entries, accruals etc., and oversees overall payable accounting process.
 Prepares and/or reviews vendor invoice accounting and processing of check/wire transfer/Credit card payments.
 Reconciliation of the vendor balances between sub ledger and the general ledger.
 Maintains the fixed assets records, depreciation accounting and coordinate physical verification and reporting.
 Review of university professional development & research grant funds and also processes of related payments.
 Handles university joint venture and outsource income accounts.
 Prepares/assists monthly management reports.
 Provides AP aging analysis report and cash flow reports on a monthly basis.
 Actively involves on annual budget process and strategic planning.
 Reviews financial implications of University's external contracts.
 Manages contingency account and administer approved budget transfers.
 Assists the annual audit process by interacting with auditors and providing necessary documentation/information/explanation.
