Overall Function of the Position:

Responsible for managing Strategic support functions and tools with flexibility and resilience to strive and thrive for the expansion and enhancement of business of Jaffer Agro Services in future.


•Main Functions / Key Accountabilities:

•Market Intelligence - For Business Units of Jaffer Agro Services (JAS)

•Market Research - For JAS and other Business Units of Jaffer Group

•Support in Strategic Planning process and implementation in JAS

•Manage system enhancement for Customer Relationship Management

•Manage Customer Care System of JAS for customer's satisfaction

•Support in Project Management work for new projects induction for JAS

•Support and coach marketing research and CRM team of JAS


•Duties and Responsibilities:

Market Intelligence - All Business Units of Jaffer Agro Services

Collect, compile, consolidate market and sales data, review imports
data and examine the trend of pests infestation in the current over
previous years for crop protection market estimation.

Further analyze data and prepare presentation reports for crop protection
market evolution for making Strategy Planning decision based on Net Sales
Value and Product Area Treated regarding the followings:

Sector-wise Pesticides market share
Company-wise market share in Pesticide Industry
Chemicals group and molecule-wise market share
Product-wise market share
Crop-wise market share

Prepare Fertilizer Market presentation annual report for making Strategy
Planning decision based on offtake and imports data available through
NFDC Annual Report.

Update Drip Irrigation Business (HEIS) Market presentation report
based on the market data provided by HEIS team.

Analyze data regarding Cotton Arrival in factories and calculate
value of Seed Cotton based on fortnightly reports received from PCGA.
The comparative trend analysis including the graphical presentation is
done during the period.


Market Research - JAS including other BUs of Jaffer Group

Ensure implementation of the assigned market research projects
through external source and in-house Jaffer Agro Services.

Discuss and define objectives in the meeting with the concerned team
members and develop questionnaire accordingly, and finalize it by
incorporating inputs for further improvement in the questionnaire.

Perform in-depth analysis and interpretation of research data and
prepare presentation report for surveys undertaken in-house for
JAS including other business units of Jaffer Group.

Link report with findings of the previously conducted studies and perform
further analysis for identifying the emerging trends in behavior of farmers over the years for utilizing these results in preparation of reports related to product marketing campaigns.

Conclude and infer the core value of the research findings to capitalize
these results towards making effective business planning decisions for
growth of organization.








Support in Strategic process and implementation in JAS

Finalize schedules, location, list of participants and "Brief" of the requirement
for sharing it with the short-listed consultants for final evaluation for conducting Strategy Formulation Workshop in consultation with the director JAS.

Coordinate with all the Business Managers of JAS for providing support
towards all the strategic functions of JAS.


Manage system enhancement for Customer Relationship Management in JAS

Plan and support in conducting CRM Software training to sales team for
utilization of CRM as the marketing tool for JAS business growth.

Communicate messages to sales team in the meeting regarding
effectiveness of CRM and its effect on sales improvement of JAS.

Meet with Ambassador Farmers during field visit for sharing
information about CRM and Websites development of JAS.

Liaison with Software company to rectify bugs identified in CRM
Software and seek proposal regarding enhancement of CRM by sharing
list of our new requirements.

Interact with ITC people and Software company for the deployment
of updated files in the Server machine regarding enhancement purpose
and for bug's removal in CRM Software.


Manage Customer Care System of JAS for customer's satisfaction

Supervise for maintaining the records of complaints received
in the log sheet for further processing and analysis.

Issue confirmation letter regarding the complaints received and
ensure sending it to the complainant as well as departmental head.

Follow-up and coordinate with the concerned department for
resolution of complaint if feedback is not received from them.

Write feedback letter to the complainant for closing the complaint
Once feedback is received by the head of concerned department.

Supervise for analysis of data and preparation of assessment report
and charts showing the trend analysis of the complaints for the purpose of
comparison over the last years.


Support in Project Management work for JAS

Coordinate with team and monitor of all projects of JAS.

Create repository for projects at JAS level.

Update and provide status of projects to JAS Management team

Help in prioritizing projects and aligning them with strategic
objectives through identifying risks and potential issues of the
projects in JAS.


Support and coach marketing research and CRM team of JAS

Support and guide Market Research and CRM team in the process
of implementation of research surveys and CRM related tasks.

Guide and support sub-ordinate in accomplishment of tasks related
to preparation of Fertilizer Reports and JAS Website development.

Coach all JAS staff regarding data analysis and presentation report
