Functional Responsibilities:
Leading and Managing Routine Procurement Operations for Urea Manufacturing Plant Site Mirpur Mathelo, Fauji Fertilizer Company Energy Limited (Wind Power Project) and Fauji Fresh & Freeze. (FFFL, Fauji's Food Business)
Responsible for Timely and Cost Effective Procurement of Quality Materials from Company Approved Sources in Accordance with Company Policies, Procedures and Ethics.
Managing smooth and seamless procurement of material and services for over $ 24 Million per Year.
Major Achievement:
• Led the General Purchasing Section responsible for handling of all manufacturing facility related purchasing of material and services.
• Achieved major cost reduction and discounts, using proper strategies and different negotiation leverages in all Tenders related to the Company’s OPEX and New Projects.
• Developed and Implemented KPI's for Procurement Department. Monitoring of KPI's to enable the department towards exceeding its annual targets.
• Fostered a robust and sustainable network of strategic suppliers and aligned them to business objectives by reducing the procurement cycle time.
Implemented a Suppliers Pre-Qualification criterion and registration process to broaden the vendor base.
• Performing market research to develop knowledge of pricing, commercial terms & alternate products and influencing stakeholders during negotiations.
• Conducted annual audits to ensure compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
