Able to carry out specific electrical duties on the following areas:
• Electrical isolation and de-isolation of Low Voltage & High Voltage Motors/Equipment
with different types of switchgears (MG, Holec, S&I, Blackset, Vonk and ABB).
• Motor Manager 5 operation & maintenance.
• Check on the digital excitation panel of high voltage compressor for accessing operation
parameters, view alarm/trip and get general description of the system.
• Operating of the 5MW Turbo Generators.
• Basic operation on Governing System, WoodWard for the Turbo Generator.
• Basic operation on Excitation System, Basler for the Turbo Generator.
• Understanding the basic operation of 13.8kV Gas Turbine Generator
• Isolation, De-isolation and check out fault finding of the UPS systems.
• Testing and Normalizing of emergency Diesel Generator.
• Helping in the maintenance of Sulphur line SECT heater.
• Helping in installation 34.5/6.6kV transformer.
• Preparing an MOC for any new thing to add/change/remove in the process.
• Completed a survey in the refinery on the following agenda:
o MotorsRCUAccuracyReading
o RTD Availability in H.V Motors
• Updated a Stability Test Procedure for Turbo Generators.
• Creating a Daily Inspection Sheet for the substations.
• Updating the procedure for 5 yearly Maintenance sheet, LV Starter Units.
