• Responsible for managing and coordinating tasks in order to ensure that life cycle performance of specific Assets meet Business performance expectations.
• Accountable for the specific Asset Class Performance in terms of Costs and Reliability across the Business.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Operational Teams across the Business to materialize the planned initiatives and monitor and control the effectiveness of the predefined improvements.
• Review and assess Technical Performance Reports, (i.e. MTBF (mean time between failures), MTTS (mean time to service), asset performance, Life cycle costs, etc.) highlighting trends, performance gaps, and opportunities to implement and share Best Practices.
• Collaborate with Warranty & Reliability team, ensure compliance of the warranty/TCO claims & credits process, support and coordinate development, renewal and effective resolution of any related supplier agreement issues.
• Develop, maintain and process appropriate databases in order to support Total Life cycle cost models and analysis coupled with a detailed component consumption prioritization list.
• Coordinate with Supply chain to ensure the right safety stock is allocated to the assets, and assess the utilization of reconditioned and reused parts to ensure proper management through the inventory system.
• Collaborate with L&D/Technical support to ensure appropriate asset related material content and Standard working instructions are developed, up to date and an effective delivery process is in place.
• Partner with Technical Support to Lead optimization and improvement activities towards an effective planned maintenance schedule & Lead initiatives towards an increased implementation and understanding of conditioning based maintenance tasks.
• Develop and perform predictive failure rate analytics (MTTF/Weibull) to support RCA’s.
• Team up with overall operational support Domain managers to follow up progress of existing RCA investigations, CCI’s(Customer Critical Issues) and operational RC counter measures
• Monitor and assess Full/Mid-life overhauls progress, average costs, asset age and support annual forecasts and implementation with SRC and Technical support teams.
• Follow up, monitor and analyze trends on fleet statistics and metrics (Average Age, NBV( net book value), Utilization, Locations, etc., )
• Facilitate and coordinate cross functional performance and cost improvement activities.
• Act as the subject matter expert and coach support functions where needed.
• Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence activities.
• Produce Technical Performance Reports, (i.e. on Monthly Production, site & asset performance etc.) highlighting trends, performance gaps, and opportunities to implement and share Best Practices.
• Develop and perform predictive failure rate analytics (MTTF/Weibull) to support reliability studies.
• Support Finance team with service material forecasting based on failure prediction analysis.
• Develop, maintain and process appropriate databases in order to support Total cost of ownership analysis and projects.
• Assist with improving & developing an effective monitoring system and infrastructure for Assets and Sites Performance Management.
• Own the PowerPack monthly report in Power Solution. Assess quality of report and proceed to required improvements as agreed with regional operations.
• Develop guidelines detailing the functions of the monitoring system and outline the processes and data/information submissions required.
• Develop performance criteria and Key Performance Indicators to drive operational improvement.
• Support investigation projects arising from benchmarking similar sites, working closely with Development, Engineering and Manufacturing to create project charters aiming to address these opportunities.
• Present project developments, highlighting key opportunities and lessons learnt to key stakeholders
• Assist stakeholders in cost-benefit analysis of pre and post improvement projects.

Title: Plan & Performance Engineer (1st of September 2013-Present)
• Evaluate system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Analyze root causes of performance problems and develop appropriate resolutions.
• Conduct system performance and stress testing, analyze test results and suggest action plans.
• Mentor and train other Performance Engineers when needed.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs for performance efficiency during commissioning and operation periods.
• Assist in preparation of design documents, technical and functional specifications and requirements document during commissioning and operation periods.
• Develop and enforce best practices to ensure quality and productivity.
• Present test results and recommendations to Manager.
• Address customer queries and concerns in a timely manner.
• Implement process improvements to ensure testing efficiency.
• Recommend new hardware and software to carry out performance testing.

• Operates and maintains (stationary) equipment, such as steam generators/boilers, air compressors, gas and steam turbines, diesel engines and all related equipments, such as pumps and piping systems, water treatment plants, lubrication systems, Hydraulic systems, Fire Fighting systems, HVAC systems, plant instrumentation controls and plant environmental systems.
• Perform maintenance work orders with required field isolation.
• Electrical part: Qualified in Racked in/out of 400 V/6.6KV breakers and MCC breakers.
• Chemical part: Perform Silica, Hydrazine, Iron and Phosphate tests for HRSG outlets (HP and LP superheated steam, HP drum Blow down, and Boiler feed pump discharge) and measures the PH and conductivity.
• Compliance with health, safety and Environmental procedures.
• Implement Safety and Environmental regulation of the company within the workforce.
• Act as Safety Rover at AES Galabovo Thermal power plant (AES Bulgaria) in Unit 2 outage from 19/8/2011 to 3/9/2011, AES Galabovo is a 600 MW coal firing plant consisting of 2 Genration Units.
