• Responsible for managing and coordinating tasks in order to ensure that life cycle performance of specific Assets meet Business performance expectations.
• Accountable for the specific Asset Class Performance in terms of Costs and Reliability across the Business.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Operational Teams across the Business to materialize the planned initiatives and monitor and control the effectiveness of the predefined improvements.
• Review and assess Technical Performance Reports, (i.e. MTBF (mean time between failures), MTTS (mean time to service), asset performance, Life cycle costs, etc.) highlighting trends, performance gaps, and opportunities to implement and share Best Practices.
• Collaborate with Warranty & Reliability team, ensure compliance of the warranty/TCO claims & credits process, support and coordinate development, renewal and effective resolution of any related supplier agreement issues.
• Develop, maintain and process appropriate databases in order to support Total Life cycle cost models and analysis coupled with a detailed component consumption prioritization list.
• Coordinate with Supply chain to ensure the right safety stock is allocated to the assets, and assess the utilization of reconditioned and reused parts to ensure proper management through the inventory system.
• Collaborate with L&D/Technical support to ensure appropriate asset related material content and Standard working instructions are developed, up to date and an effective delivery process is in place.
• Partner with Technical Support to Lead optimization and improvement activities towards an effective planned maintenance schedule & Lead initiatives towards an increased implementation and understanding of conditioning based maintenance tasks.
• Develop and perform predictive failure rate analytics (MTTF/Weibull) to support RCA’s.
• Team up with overall operational support Domain managers to follow up progress of existing RCA investigations, CCI’s(Customer Critical Issues) and operational RC counter measures
• Monitor and assess Full/Mid-life overhauls progress, average costs, asset age and support annual forecasts and implementation with SRC and Technical support teams.
• Follow up, monitor and analyze trends on fleet statistics and metrics (Average Age, NBV( net book value), Utilization, Locations, etc., )
• Facilitate and coordinate cross functional performance and cost improvement activities.
• Act as the subject matter expert and coach support functions where needed.
• Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence activities.
