• Leading a commercial team responsible for importing and selling mazut, fuel oil, and gasoline to the local market
(quantities over 700, 000 M/T for around 500 million dollars per year).
• Managing the bidding process and advising for relevant government agencies on strategy.
• Managing more than 130 employees at Tripoli Oil Installations, across 15 administrative buildings, more than 10 oil tanks, and over 4 million square meters in land.
• Overseeing the maintenance and operations of four crude oil and natural gas pipelines (approximately 30 kilo meters to the Lebanese-Syrian border).
• Managed the tendering process for major infrastructure and industrial projects until award, such as Zahrani Oil
Installation Port ($5 M), Gas Pipeline ($25 M), and 1 MW Solar System for Zahrani Oil Installation (∼ $2 M).
• Managed the tendering process for insurance (employees’ medical insurance, public liability, fire, theft, and gas
pipeline) which form a portfolio that exceeds $1 M per year for Tripoli and Zahrani Oil Installations.
• Managed the procurement process for Elecricite Du Liban EDL (quantities over 1.2 billion M/T for around $1
B dollars per year) and local market for fuel oil and mazut.
• Managed contracts for all kinds of tenders for Tripoli & Zahrani Oil Installations.
• Commended by the Minister of Energy and Water for negotiating procurement contracts for fuel oil and mazut
imports for EDL and local market resulting in significant savings of $2 M.
• Procured study projects with Italian Consultants for a gas pipeline from Tripoli Oil Installations to Zahrani Oil
Installations, and was member of the study committee.
