• Managing on site electrical works, since my arrival I have been held responsible for managing the electrical teams in two residential buildings around Lusail Stadium. Work includes but not limited to : cable trays, setting-up sockets and lighting points, connections to the DBs, SDBs and MDB.
• Overseeing the DBs dressing and termination, to insure its compatibility with Kahramaa standards.
• Interpreting supplied design drawings, to insure their feasibility in real life and conducting the necessary modifications when needed after the consultant’s approval.
• Preparing daily work reports, including: work schedules, material lists, BOQs…and reporting to my seniors.
• Preparing tenders and price estimations, using the QUICK DEVIS tendering software and my technical knowledge I was capable of winning two tenders within a few months and increased the profit by 15% with value engineering
• Designing and drawing of wiring and layout diagrams, using computer aided design and drafting softwares. I was able to produce clear and accurate shop drawings for more than 50 panels off all types and sizes within a few months
• Preparing material submittals: Within my first week, I had become familiar with EATON components and was able to generate detailed material submittals that presented our company's history as well as the technical specifications in the most professional manner, thereby increasing our chances of winning tenders.
• Preparing AS-BUILT drawings and user documentation. The technicians on site had no issue making all of the essential connections as per the designs, and clients gained a better understanding of how our various panels worked as a result of my meticulous attention to detail.
• Creating visual guidelines for the assembly and supervising the work in the workshop and on site. One of my proudest achievements is making the technicians feel more involved in the panel assembly process by explaining concepts, taking into account their technical viewpoints, and always being ready to answer any query or question.
MV Substations.
• Supervising MV projects (assembly, cable termination, cable tray…), I was intrusted to supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of some the biggest projects both in the private and public sectors such as AUBMC and the multi-milion dollar project: the expansion of 6 EDL substations all over Lebanon
• Conducting Monthly preventive maintenance for installed material, reporting to my seniors, I was responsible for scheduling and conducting monthly preventive maintenance on all MV components ( Swithgear, RMU, Transformers) in one of the biggest malls in lebanon ABC Verdun for more than 3 years.
LV panel boards.
• Supervising LV panel boards assembly (MCC, MDB, ATS…), during my work at KC I was responsible for the assembly of panel boards for more than 45 different residential, commertial and industrial projects in Lebanon such as towers (Cielo), villas (Itani Villa), hospitals (AIN EL HELWE with the ICRC), water treatment plants (VEOLIA:NABAA EL SAFA)…. And abroad such as Skysat and Edmark centers in Nigeria.
• Testing and Comissioning, as part of my responsabilities I have conducted FATs (Factory Acceptance Test) on all panelboards including: continuity test, isolation test, functional test….Ensuring the quality of all our panels.
Project consultation.
• Overseeing daily activities at the work site, including scheduling of workers, delivery of equipment and materials, progress of the project and reporting to my seniors.
• Assisting in the research & analysis of client data, such as load schedules, cables length, demand factor….
• Implementing mechanical designs, such as enclosures, frames, doors, mounting plates and insulators assembly plus punching, bending and installing all bus bar sizes for all types of panels
• Implementing power and control diagrams, with my organization skills the wiring I executed for different circuits ex. ATS, MTS, MDB, VFD, DOL, DAHLANDER, STAR-DELTA… was more often set by my superiors as an example for other technicians.
• Assisting in the scheduling and execution of daily maintenance for filters, pumps, and panels, as well as the preparation of daily activity reports and value comments.
• Assisting with the scheduling and performance of daily maintenance for various electromechanical systems and electrical panels, such as chillers, generators, ATS, and MDBs.
