I got that solid experience since I was assigned for 3 hotel openings with different hotel chains ( Makkah Hilton 650 rooms&suites at that time/ Meridien Jeddah 284 rooms & suites(Reopening) and Movenpick Anwar El Madinah 1255 rooms & Suites biggest Movenpick in the world). Also assists new travel agencies opening, for how to tackle business among aggressive competitions, staff set up, identify objectives and comp. goals, business trips, sign contracts

Biggest Movenpick in the word(1255 rooms&suites)... made the hotel opening successfully.. arranged FF&E, staff recruitment, sales &marketing strategy, F& B implementation. enter new IT system.( Spent 4 years at Movenpick Company in different positions starting as DOSM to GM).
One of most most difficult tasks I took, due to very limited time to open, huge staff shortage due to new visas regulations, staff training, short of SOE and FF& E.. however, manage to overcome all these obstacles while we were approaching the 2 very peak seasons ( Ramadan & Hajj). Managed to Encourage all staff to work hand in hand with team work spirit. worked with my own hands especially during meals time at the different outlets created very high working spirit and energy among all employees regardless of their positions or ranks. We were very much appreciated by guests in spite of the shortage indicated before.

programs for outsiders and hotel guests.( It was specific mission to adjust sales & marketing department in a very limited time0.. done successfully, achieved targets, increased average.room rate & rev par. create new attractive collateral, adjust mailing lists in a professional manner, set PR & Promotions effectively together with F& B Department., creating big demand for outsiders, corporate accounts, new package implementation. Reduced cost of sales mainly in F& B it was one of our major tasks by sharing other parts like well known sponsors for advertising campaigns and printing materials. Working very close with Front office to fill gaps in needed periods with additional benefits at very low cost. After that successful mission I was promoted to become General Manager at Movenpick (anwar al Madinah) in KSA

BA_ Cairo University 1978 in Business Administration Having different certificates in sales& Marketing, Management during the entire period in hotels mentioned. Intensive Management & departments head training at Nile & Ramses Hilton. spent 6 months with F&B, Banquets Sales & Marketing executives courses in Vienna. Sales & Marketing Management training in Abu Dhabi. Sales & Marketing Management in Cairo. Basic sales training in Fujirah. Attended ITB & ATM, Kuwait Tourism Exhibition, Lebanon Tourism Exhibition, Tunisian Tourism Exhibition. Started my Carrere at Ramses Hilton in Cairo at Rooms Division. Then selected to join Sales & marketing Department 1982. I was in charge on each segment in particular (Travel, corporate, incentive, banquets & conference ). I also got additional tasks to sell incoming business from KSA, Kuwait and UAE). Managed to establish and create very strong and fruitful Markets from KSA & Kuwait to Egypt generating huge business and benefits mainly to Ramses Hiton, and Nile Hilton at that time continuously from 1983 to 1990. I have created National Sales offices in 1990 at the countries which do not have Hilton Hotels at that time, started with Kuwait, then Jeddah then promoted and opened Makkah Hilton in 1994.. It was brilliant idea very much appreciated by Hilton International headquarters. I also shared the negotioations of Makkah Hilton together in Jeddah together with Mr. Ahmed Nahas (X president) Hilton Middle East & Africa till closed the deal.
