I am contracted to lead projects and modernize the project management practice to support the department’s digital-by-design and digital transformation. I currently manage two large transformation projects budgeted at $5 million each to replace two critical Water monitoring and management systems.
Responsibilities
Engage with regional business and technology stakeholders, and the development team to deliver the project scope, strategy, project plan and requirements.
Develop business and system requirements and delivery plans for analysis, development, systems integration, data transformation & migration.
Communicate and address project risks related to budget, scope, implementation and future business operations
Report on project status with business and IT stakeholders including business units, solution architects, business analysts, developers, and application testers.
Lead a project delivery team of in-house developers, business analysts and system operators for implementation, requirement management and configuration management of the product suite and data migration.
Manage business stakeholder expectations inclusive of the management steering committee members, executive directors and business end-users of scientists and field officers across South Australia.
Lead the change management, training and business readiness by facilitating decision making across multiple departments through technical reference groups, working groups, steering committees.
Liaise with the global and local vendors in the USA, Canada and Australia for proposals and project management.
Consultant & Project Manager for CRM Projects for global implementations. Responsibilities include:
• Lead CRM projects for CRM implementation, enhancements and system support
• Responsible for CRM projects related to Salesforce.com, MS Dynamics, Siebel, Blackbaud
• Report to the PMO to assist in implementation and improvement of project management and service management practices in the organization
• Business Analysis, Re-engineering and automation of processes continuous improvement and efficiency
• Develop business cases, charters, plans, control metrics, system proposals and success criteria for projects and their deliverable
• Manage and coordinate with project sponsors and stakeholders of clients throughout the course of the project

Project Manager for Enterprise level projects related to Enterprise Collaboration, Document Management, IT Services and BCP & DR planning. Manager for the IT Services (ITIL based) division responsible for the system administration and business process re-engineering, automation and continuous improvement of Service Management and Service Desk (IBM-TSRM), Document Management (Rosetta DMS), Change & Configuration Management (IBM-CCMDB) and Asset Management (IBM-TAMMIT & IBM-TAD4D). Project Manager for: the largest Enterprise Portal implementations in the Banking industry of Pakistan (IBM - WebSphere Portal & Collaboration Accelerator); and for development of a Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan for the Bank. The role requires complete end-to-end project management from leading the development of the project charter, conducting technical and financial evaluation, developing project and project management plans, leading implementation of systems, monitoring and controlling the project deliverables and closing the project.
