I am working as a Quantity Surveyor in material section of technical department;
Constructing a Housing Complex for Institute of Public Administration at Riyadh. Value of the contract is 190 million Saudi Riyals. The Project is on a plot of size 450 x 400 m. The scope of works is to construct 83 Villas of two floors each, a Mosque (capacity: 750 men + 250 women) and all utilities for the total facility such as sewer network, potable water/ firefighting network, irrigation water network, storm water network (partially surface drainage and the remaining through UG pipelines), low voltage, medium voltage, low current networks tec.
I have involved to preparing the quantity of execution, concrete and Back Filling of skeletons of the villas, block masonry, plastering, waterproofing and painting works. Later, I was in-charge of the coordination of external utilities in earthworks, laying pipes, encasement of pipelines, manholes, leakage testing etc. and mainly in coordinating with the Project Consultant in obtaining approval for the executed works
