Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements for the Group (standalone and consolidated).
Supervision of all accounting operations Including A/R, A/P, Inventory and Revenue recognition.
General ledger maintenance and ensuring data integrity.
Preparation of yearly budget and quarterly forecasts.
Liaison with the external and internal auditors.
Liaison with group subsidiaries for the timely reports.
Correspondence with the banks related to trade finance facilities including LC, trust receipts and cheque discounting.
Monthly VAT reporting.
Revenue & expenditure variance analysis.
Reporting to Group Finance Manager.
Preparation of monthly and annual accounts for the local and overseas management.
Preparation of yearly budget and quarterly forecast.
Supervision of day to day finance and accounts functions.
Liaison with the external and internal auditors.
Evaluation and improvement of internal controls & policies.
Correspondence with the banks.
Monthly analysis of accounts with budget and forecast.
Assist financial controller on various assignments.
Reporting to Financial Controller.
Review of all the financial transactions for any discrepancy.
Review of policies and procedures of the Company. Comments on policies and procedures not developed, policies and procedures not complied with and policies and procedures require update.
Review the effectiveness of internal controls to minimize the risk.
Reviewing consolidation of divisional and then group financial statements before external audit
Prepare internal audit reports for Audit Committee of Board of Directors every quarter.
Comprehensive stock take of fixed assets of the Company annually.
Comprehensive stock take of stores, spares, loose tools, raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods quarterly.
Pre-audit of all transactions above a threshold as decided by the CEO.
Report of status of compliance with laws and regulations applicable to the Company.
For selected months, reconciliation of bank ledgers of the Company with bank statements to identify any unrecorded transactions or temporary use of Company funds
