• Provides physical therapy service to adult / paediatric patients with a variety of illnesses, impairments and disabilities in Inpatient, ICU and OP departments includes Neurology, Cardiothoracic, Gynaecology, Internal Medicine, Respiaratory and Orthopaedic cases
• Review patient records, performs patient assessment, establishes functional goals and designs a treatment plan on collaboration with the patient and family.
• For each patient taking approval from insurance companies, writing the claim forms with CPD and ICD9 codes, updating the treatment documents in the file using SOAP format, which includes an Initial assessment, progress notes, and a discharge summary.
• Prescribes exercise and administers various therapeutic techniques including but not limited to manual therapy, taping, and dry needling various forms of electrotherapy, heat, and cryo therapy. Prescribes and issue patients, with walking aids and supportive devices and instructs patients in their use
• Preparing Duty Rota, Managing other physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapist and PT. Tech. Monthly senses, Yearly instrument requirements, consumables, and to update Hand Hygiene Records, Hazmat Inventory, stock taking of stores & policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates patient therapy programs to ward personnel; instructs patients and families in procedures to be continued at home. Participates in outreach activities including health exhibitions, presentations marketing and CME lectures
• Trainer and resource person for the New recruits, EHSMS, JCI, and CME
• Contributes to the development of new patient educational materials such as patient instructions and exercise hand-outs and to the development of Rehab unit evidence based clinical protocols and patient assessment forms
• Mentors interns and summer students
• Performing Audits for entire hospital as part of EHSMS.

Entering the Progress report s of each patient and maintaining ase file in SOAP format.
