Under this assignment, I have gained experience in database architecture, installation & configuration, up-gradation and maintenance of oracle database of version 10g & 11g, managing Tablespaces and Datafiles, handling of Backup and Recovery (Cold, Hot, Import/Export, Data Pump and RMAN), Installation and configuration of Oracle Grid Infrastructure for ASM (11g), upgrading Oracle Database version 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.4 & 10g to 11g, etc.
My work profile includes Database Cloning Offline, Online and RMAN cloning, creating a Physical Standby, Logical, Snapshort Database from the Primary Database, monitoring the Physical Standby, Logical, Snapshort Database, managing RAC database architecture, Clusterware installation, configuration and upgradation of version 10g/11g, handling Clusterware and RAC database Utilities like: Crsctl, Crs_Stat, Ocrcheck, Ocrconfig, Cluvfy, Srvctl, Etc.

Client Name : Steak n Shake, USA
Environment : Oracle enterprise Linux/Linux Oracle 11g
Responsibilities:
• Resolve user day-to-day issues and database alerts.
• Work on user request related to Role, Privileges and Profile as per Business Requirement.
• Monitoring Database growth, Tablespace growth and doing basic database activities like resizing tablespace by adding datafiles or adding space to an existing datafiles.
• Creating tablespace and add datafile to the tablespaces, if required and assigned quotas to the users.
• Working in re-organization of tablespace to fix space issues for future availability of storage.
• Monitoring database and take health checks like Listener is running or not or session info, database id, processes status etc.
• Identified the locked object, killing those sessions in DB level & processes in OS level for the locked session in database.
• Taking backup of users on developers request using Data Pumps.
• Used SQL*LOADER to load data from flat file to database tables.
• Generating Execution plan using TKPROF.
• Generating AWR and ADDM report for database performance health checkups.
