• Managing & leading RAN team including RF optimization (6 RF engineers, 3 DT engineers & 4 riggers) & planning (2 planning engineers) Resources.
• Strategizing Annual RF Targets, daily network performance monitoring, analysis and rectification of worst performing entities
• Handling level 2 RF issues for analysis and resolution.
• Project management for regional level RF projects. Key projects include
o 3G integration and cluster optimization
o 14 major Cities performance optimization
• Conducting regional level analysis of network call drop causes, Identification of worst performing cluster and ensure timely rectification of worst entities
• Performing network audit independently and give recommendations for corrections and improvement
• Performing in-depth analysis of KPIs, recommend Soft Parameter and Antenna Optimization to improve KPIs
• Ensuring scheduled drive test plan of the region for on field network quality
• Handling customer complaint teams for both voice & data issues in southern Punjab region.
• Performing smart analysis & customer complaints in order to identify and resolve worst areas
• Ensuring the Target Customer Satisfaction Index & Turn Around Time for the region whilst maintaining the subscriber perceived network
• Performing contingency planning for events, and breakdowns
• ABIS, PS ATER and Gb link utilization monitoring and optimization to ensure high throughput
• Coordinating & monitoring BSS planning activities relevant to RAN (BSC rehomings, cutovers, version upgrades & expansions), providing DT teams for pre/post drive tests in relevant areas & pre/post KPIs monitoring.
• Responsible for new sites planning, existing sites capacity improvements (TRX expansions, sector additions, E-1 expansions) based on statistical & drive test data.
• Interdepartmental & Cross functional role by coordinating with Rollout, SA (site acquisition), BSS, FOPs (field operations), Transmission & NSS teams for efficient execution.
• Taking ownership & lead on major projects prepared & executed for coverage enhancement, quality improvement, and customer perception improvement in the cities & rural areas.
• Strategic level communication through presentations to higher management, to depict the progress, key strengths, gap analysis, achievements and way forward.
