The Organization is one of the leading money exchange company involved in the business of money exchange and remittances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proffering cashier and currency exchange service, handling all forms of customer foreign exchange transactions, resolving customer inquiries and referring service requests to appropriate departments.
• Providing personalized, friendly and efficient cashiering service, meeting customer needs and seeking opportunities to extend/develop customer relationships.
• Managing and verifying cash transactions daily, balancing cash register, computing/recording sales and purchase of bonds, recording funds received and compiling reports of receipts.
• Handling the buying and selling of foreign currency, national bonds and verifying that all the transaction including bank transfers, cash, and national bonds are in compliance with as per company standards.
• Processing merchandise returns and exchanges, issuing stamps, maintaining the record of every transaction carried out through courier as well as documenting the POD number with particular courier company.
• Processing payment of cheques in accordance with accounting requirements and maintaining accountability for all financial transactions.
• Managing day to day transactions, drafting report in excel format; counting and completing record of kinds of funds to be deposited; confirming by rechecking amount of deposit and arranged for transfer of funds to bank for the company.
•Managing the customers’ daily transactions including timely deposits, cash withdrawals, foreign exchange transactions, loan transactions, etc.
• Overseeing all cash/credit card transactions, accounted for all payments and responded to customer billing inquiries efficiently.
Joined the organization as Business Development Executive, moved on upward career trajectories, to merit promotion to the position of Business Development Manager.
