During my time as a volunteer I help organize open days, assist new foreign Muslims, and help with their English. I go out into Manchester and meet people to inform them of the open days and find that I can build a good rapport with people on first meeting. I also help to feed the homeless.

I have taught English to a number of different students from various parts of the world including Polish, Latin American, Spanish, Saudi and Kuwaiti students both one-to-one and also in groups. I have done this on a voluntary basis and the students I have taught have greatly increased their skills both verbally and written. Due to the achievements of the students they have recommended me to their friends and family. I find this work interesting and satisfying and a challenge I can meet.

IGCSE Spanish Grade B 2010 GCSE English Language Grade C 2010 GCSE Maths Grade C 2010 Cover Letter I am adaptable and versatile, often using my own initiative to get work done. I have never lacked any confidence when dealing with people. I am always polite, direct and have the ability to put people at ease. My written and verbal skills are excellent and I have always been able to relate information in a concise and clear format. This is also related to my listening skills. I have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to quickly establish credibility which is essential to enable effective interaction with students which helps to create a comfortable environment. My employment has been on a voluntary basis but has given me an excellent foundation to gain paid employment in teaching English as a foreign language. This is a career path that I am interested in and I am determined to make teaching English my life long career. I have gained my TEFL certificate and I am doing my degree through the Open University so I am flexible to relocate to any country as well as working in Great Britain.
