• Assistant Director of the Department in all matters related to the Department meetings, subscription, policies, and administrative aspects, Plus supervising the department team.
• Identify and develop new markets and market opportunities.
• Studying insurance proposals; working in all underwriting comprehensive and third party policies.
• Gathering and assessing background information in order to effectively assess the risk involved;
• Calculating possible risk and deciding how much individuals or organizations should pay for insurance (the premium);
• Deciding whether the risk should be shared with a reinsurer;
• Computing results for appropriate premiums using actuarial information, other statistics and own judgement.
• Negotiating terms with policyholders or their brokers;
• Ensuring that premiums are competitive;
• Specifying conditions to be imposed on different types of policies, for example, asking that a property owner install a security alarm;
• Negotiating with brokers and drawing up contracts.
• Keeping detailed and accurate records of policies underwritten and decisions made
• Supervise all sales and marketing activities in the showroom
• Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems for the showroom in order and issue timely management and statistical reports.
• Supervise cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies, at all times with staff and customer safety as the uppermost priority.
• Supervise selling and customer service activities and staff competence in these areas, so as to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction
• Supervise all stock movement activities: in/out, transfer, sales etc and responsible of showroom stock in a way to eliminate stock shortage and perform stock replenishment in an efficient manner and on due time.
• Assist the insurance underwriter with inspection of the property or the concerned risk, and premium estimation
• Personally inspect the vehicles for insurance renewal and new insurances
• Explain the terms and conditions to the insured
• Sell different insurance plans to prospective customers
• Manage business communication with corporate sector
• Feed the insurance record of the clients in the system for monitoring and quick evaluation
• Manage the insurance claims and coordinate with claims manager for necessary actions
• Keep all documents and file them for record keeping
• Coordinate with the customers for on-time premium payment and policy renewal
