 Experience TEN YEARS with Schlumberger (Wireline) Middle East Asia, Saudi Arabia as instrument engineer (IE).


 Responsible to maintain the electronics equipment, digital electronics and circuit boards of the well service devices and wireline downhole tools (open hole & cased hole tools).

 Quality check before and after the jobs for the downhole tools. Assembly and disassembly when need, inspection check, checking the condition, calibration, fault analysis and repairing, replacing and troubleshooting the electronics equipment’s, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and microprocessors.

 Completed evaluation and modification of equipment and component failures.

 Sharing the mechanical technicians in troubleshooting, repairing assembly and disassembly in the shared down hole equipment tools.

 Operation check, diagnoses of electronic boards, final test with the acquisition system for the downhole tools and well service devices by using the support software program on the computer.


 Maintenance, support repair and modify the hardware and Software of the computers.

 Maintain the surface acquisition system which is used to power up the downhole tools and making the communication (Telemetry) between the downhole tool and the computers. And maintain the connections between the parts of whole system.

 Performing routine maintenance and modification for acquisition system of the wireline logging units as per giving instructions & procedures in maintenance manuals.

 Performing asset and maintenance tracking of the equipments and its fault reports. Ensure all software and firmware is maintained at current versions.

 Records all maintenance events and failure events immediately and accurately.

 Ordering required parts for down tools, acquisition system, computers and maintaining inventory for E-LAB.


 Providing technical support to field engineers at well sites & shop.

 Keeping the QHSE training for the department up to date.


 Several training courses: A lot of short training courses: For example First aid, QHSE, Electrical safety, Fatigue Management, PPE, Pressure hazard, defense driving, fire safety level 1, H2S gas, Helicopter Passenger and hazard equipments, …etc.


 Basic Electronic Maintenance course ( 3 weeks ) in Scotland (British Training Center (BTC)) in 2006.

 Electronic Maintenance Course A (2 weeks) in France (SRPC center) in 2009.

 Radiation safety course (one week) in Riyadh (TECHNOLOGY Expert Co) in 2009.

 Soldering and crimping technology course certificate by IPC (one week) in Abu Dhabi (MLC center) in 2010.


 Electronic Maintenance Course C (2 weeks) in Abu Dhabi (MLC center) in 2012: Electronic maintenance and troubleshooting training. Especially for VSI (Versatile Seismic Imager), RST (Reservoir Saturation), SCMT (Slim Cement Mapping), EDTC, FPIT (Free Point Indicator), and PPC (Powered Positioning Caliper)
