Managing the Integrated Automated Vehicle Management Enterprise Platform (IAVMEP) project
for Department of Transport (DoT) of Abu Dhabi. Have overall responsibility for the successful
initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the project
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as single-point of contact for the project.
- Lead project planning activities, including the creation of the project definition and project plan
to clearly identify the project's scope, approach, participants, tasks, and responsibilities.
- Perform timely and accurate status reporting to all project stakeholders, including regular
schedule and cost tracking.
- Execute project change control to keep the project within the approved scope, cost, and
timeline.
- Mitigate project risks and resolve issues on a timely basis or escalate when needed.
- Maintain a repository of all project-related documents for use throughout the project, for
historical reference, and for audits.
- Establish key relationships with client team (DoT) and other stakeholders.
Responsible to ensure the smooth and effective running of the PMO function across all Network and IT Technology projects in a fast paced, rapid change environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Share best practices for project management methodology.
- Governing programs across Technology, making sure that the projects are aligned with Group and company strategy.
- Managing the Key Technology Projects which bring in capabilities for Technology Enterprise Programs, such as IoT and ICT projects.
- Make sure that projects life cycle is implemented for all projects.
- Support deployment teams to finish projects on time and on budget.
- Ensuring the finished project or product meets stakeholder requirements.
- Make sure that all products are handed over to service management and operation team correctly.
- Managing regular cross functional meetings with all stakeholders (NW design, NW operation, IT design, IT operation, Enterprise team, SOC, NOC, customer care & support, Marketing team, finance teams).
- Make sure with strict process that milestones are reached on time, without crossing the due time lines.
- Regular reporting on progress and escalating bottlenecks to CTO and technology heads.
- Presenting a real-time project dashboard highlighting key status indicators such as cost variance, schedule variance, and late critical path items.
- Managing and generating Vodafone Qatar reports to Vodafone Group including Technical and Financial KPIs.
- Discussing Technology Performance Reports with Vodafone Qatar Technology Leadership Team and Group Technology Strategy and Planning Team
- Making sure that all KPI’s are reported accurately and on time to meet AMAP Group CTO office deadlines.
- Managing Vodafone Qatar’s stakeholders to make sure that Vodafone Group Reporting System is updated accurately as per agreed schedule with Group.
- Managing budget (CAPEX/OPEX) for Technology, review receipting and financial plans with finance and technology heads on regular basis.
- Drive financial value through program governance by seeking out efficiency opportunities or smarter cost saving models.
Full ownership and focal point of contact for all Commercial Enterprise Services.
Key responsibilities:
- Cross functional stakeholder management Networks, Product Management & Customer Care.
- Projects Delivery: Scope, Workflow monitoring, timelines monitoring, deliverables, designs criteria, implementation status and resources management including third-party contractors and consultants.
- Project Monitoring & reporting: KPIs, scope, cost & time deviations, communication, change management, stakeholders & contingency plans.
- Managing process improvements, SLA’s, audits and continuous improvement plans.
- Delivery of major new & expansion projects.
- Planning & supervising all related installations and O&M handover activities.
- Preparing, reviewing and updating budget forecasts, network designs & optimization documentation.
- Issuing & managing implementations time plans and progress reports.
- Responsible for managing & monitoring material inventory.
- Managing site rentals negotiations, acquisitions & contracts.

A USA multinational company responsible for the design of communication systems for fabrication & manufacturing vendors (wireless circuits, modems, ports... etc.)
- Responsible for the design of wireless LAN circuits, modem transmitters & receivers, serial ports UART and USB for peripherals for PCs and computer networks standards 802.11A, 802.11B and 802.11G.
- Gained a thorough knowledge of wireless modems & circuits: radio channels, channel acquisition & estimation, modem synchronization (timing and frequency locked loops), performance measurements & simulation and system modeling using Matlab & Verilog.
- Successful delivery of designs that were fabricated into a WLAN chip used in PCs and wireless access points.
-Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of radio base stations (RBS) and transmission (Mini-Link-E).
-Duties included Optimization, traffic control, and extended dealing with
micro-cells, Base Station Controller (BSC), Base Transceiver Station (BTS) and repeaters.
