Responsibilities
Witnessing and sentencing of all site inspections within their disciplines
Coordinate all site inspections with the site subcontractors
Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status
Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken
Review all inspection reports for compliance
Assist the site QC manager in the organisation, maintenance and control of the quality system
Liase with the site construction engineers and provide assistance when requested
Prepare nonconformance reports to the QA manager and assist in developing corrective actions
Assist the QC manager and construction manager in resolving any discrepancies and ambiguities
Coordinate with the customers QC inspectors for the resolution of site problems
Coordinate with the site subcontractors to ensure that communications exist and are maintained

Responsibilities
· Assist and coordinate with resident or senior engineer for the management and supervision of structural and civil aspects of the project.
· Responsible in preparing and maintaining site diaries on daily basis at the site.
· Maintain a good understanding of the project priorities and programs.
· Records all significant events and relevant issue affecting the progress of the works and coordinate with the senior engineer responsible.
· Monitor the material incorporated in the work and check every delivery.
· Assures incoming quality of received materials and verify in the approved material submittals.
· Check the quantity of materials stored at the site and monitor the rate of usage in everyday work.
· Check and assures proper sequencing of the works at site in reference to the construction drawing and approved method statement.
· Check and monitor the project daily activities, site manpower resources, plant and equipment on the site as required.
· Carry-out regular site inspection for all civil and structural permanent works for specification and drawing compliance.
· Maintains records of inspection requests and other work related documents at the site at all times.
· Attend and visit laboratory/plant inspection, witness tests and material inspection.
· Verify all calibration certificates of equipment and instrument used at the site.
· Responsible for the accuracy of bar bending schedule (BBS), method of cutting, splicing and other requirements mentioned on the approved codes and standards.
· Responsible for checking the arrangement, procedures and installation of reinforcement for every structural members and parts.
· Responsible for checking the accuracy of measurement for shuttering and formworks in reference to the approved shop-drawings.
· Verify and check the integrity of supports, shoring and scaffolding of a structure.
· Responsible for checking the quality of concrete, cleanliness, method and process of placing and documentation of the work.
· Responsible to check and organize the site area and facilities efficiently in order to meet quality workplace.
· Assist in administering safety programs at the site. Issue instructions as necessary to correct any safety violation.
· Attend weekly, monthly and other progress meetings held at the site as required.
