Duties:
1- Management Decision : Deciding how to manage the detailed project development and construction phase
2- Development : Defining project description, feasibility assessment, project management, and project implementation roles and responsibilities.Selecting a contractor, technical experience, management experience, transparent accounting, tightly defined milestones, and good communications skills
3- Engineering design : . The objective of this step is to end up with a complete set of component or systems specifications, drawings, performance specifications, and construction management plans that can be used for hardware procurement and on-site construction. The engineering design should also include the development of a detailed construction timeline identifying long-lead-time items and construction sequencing. Also, the engineering design will result in an increasingly good estimate of actual construction costs.
4- Power Agreement : The PPA has enormous influence over the economic and financial viability of the project. The PPA should address the purchase power price ($/kWh, including any time of day or seasonal variations), the duration or term of the agreement, and interconnection and operational requirements.
5- Permitting and Licensing :power generation project will be subject to certain environmental siting and permitting requirements. Permitting includes the granting of permission by tribal and BIA authorities to site the project on tribal lands. Environmental siting requirements typically relate to land-use regulations and air permitting.
6- Project Financing Process :project financing and the project's "deal structure" become inseparable. Project financial partners will certainly have a say over the management and oversight structure of the project. Tax incentives, and deal structures that are framed to capture these incentives, may have significant influence over the implementation of a project.
1- Study tender documentation in order to gain a clear overall understanding and to fully appreciate the requirements for their specific technical area and to appreciate the relevant construction methods.
2- Review tender bill of quantities and discuss with client and partner where appropriate in order to ensure that all required elements are present.
3- Estimate resources required such as direct labor, material, construction equipment etc for each activity to enable them to be accurately priced.
4- Prepare estimates for direct costs including labor wages, material required, equipment hire and all other costs etc using judgment to ensure that relevant and appropriate figures are applied .
5- Review sub-contract inquires and quotations converting them to the same level to enable effective comparative consideration.
6- Prepare estimate related technical proposal deliverables ( e.g. equipment lists, manpower histograms etc ) for insertion in the proposal.
7- Guide and develop subordinates estimators to ensure the quality of input provided and to assist in their personal development.
8- Prepare indirect cost estimate and review technical proposal under the supervision of department manager.
9- Interfacing and communicating with the client in order to ensure effective negotiation.
10- Ensuring effective post award hand over.
Karachaganak Main Works Contract-KMWC (Kazakhstan)
Description: Construction of an Oil condensate Processing Plant with Gas Compression/Reinjection Facilities and a Well Production Gathering System, 300km of flow lines, and a 600km oil export pipeline - Output 300, 000 Barrels/dayof Oil.

Duties :
Control and Planning
Supervising and controlling the office engineering functions of planning, production control, cost control, budget and follow up on going project. Analyze the status of CPM schedules and highlights activities where the actual performance varies from the planning and the impact this variance has on the initial path and on meetings milestone dates. Compiling the progress on the activities, percentage of completion and approved or anticipated change orders effecting schedule or budget elements.
Material Control
Identified and compiled from contract documents all quantities and specifications of the required material for the project. Studied materials prices as shown in the budget and recommended substitute materials as deemed advantageous. Reviewed the overall and detailed construction programs, and scheduled material deliveries accordingly to ensure availability of materials on site as and when required.
Progress and Monitoring
Developed detail breakdown schedule to the level of Progress Measurable Elements inline with master Project Schedule, preparing and managing a big database which was considered as a reliable source for information for site activities and works pertaining for electrical and instrumentation, this database used for issuing ( automatically ) the daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.

Sharq Second Expansion Project (SSEP)
Description: The complete construction of a new Ethylene Gycol Plant with a production capacity of 450, 000 TPY. The work included new buildings, plant foundations, heavy and general equipment erection, No. 3 tanks including foundations, laboratory building with equipment, 230kV power line from SCECO source, No. 3 Flares, seawater pack up system, incinerator relocation, chlorination system, waste water lifting station, raw material piping, supply and installation of steel structure, all piping works, instrumentation, insulation, fire proofing, etc.

Duties:
Supervised construction of Electrical and Instrumentation works. Assigned and coordinated the duties of foremen and supervisors on site. Monitored the quality of the works. Ensured compliance with relevant specifications.
Duties :
Estimating the direct and indirect cost for Electrical works which includes estimating the required manpower. Training on CCC Electrical/Instrument project monitoring system, global resource list, designing and estimating the needed electrical systems for industrial buildings like workshop, warehouse, chemical storage and others.
Description: This project is part of Norwegian aid to Palestinian people, rehabilitation of the power system in the Northern region of Palestine which included Engineering, material Procurement and Installation of medium and low voltage equipment and cables.

Duties: Carrying out data collection and load forecast master plans, extensive involvement in the emergency rehabilitation project, loss reduction and long term distribution planning, conducting measurements using VIP instrument energy analyzer on the LV and HV system, using load flow and short circuit software for defining system characteristics .
