 Implementing and monitoring the company HSE system / plan
 Ensuring Risk assessment / Job Hazard Analysis is done in advance of commencement of activities and ensuring all preventive / control measures are in place
 Ensure that all contractual / company and local authority requirements for Quality, Health Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements are complied with
 Ensure all safety precautions are completed and checked prior to a work activity commencing
 Monitoring Safety activities during Rigging & erection
 Ensure all permits are available for works on site and all safety precautions are taken
 Ensuring all personnel are wearing Personnel Protective Equipment as per regulations
 Training of workforce on safety practices
 Monitoring Site work and equipment, identifying Hazards and advising Project Manager of corrective actions required.
 Monitoring Safety Complaints and follow up with site team for close out.
 Carrying out HSE Inspections / Audits on site and reporting status and effectiveness of the system.
 Maintaining First Aid facilities on Site.
 Co ordinating, supporting and advising HSE Officers
 Recording Accidents and Injuries and reporting on safety statistics.
 Laisoning with Client Safety Representative.
 Documentation work related to HSE.
 Imparting adequate training / awareness of HSE systems / regulations especially safety for all personnel and subcontractors on site.
 Ensuring Emergency procedures are available on site.
 Prompt reporting of all near miss, incidents, accidents on site and Investigation / Assistance during Investigations.
