Global Project Engineer
Execute Major Strategic Projects, Drive Internal Standards, Best Practices or Regional Initiatives, Achieve Personal and Team Development, Achieve Controllable Financial Objectives and Drive, Maintain GOE Administrative Requirements.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop, expand and sustain global FSG operational standards and best practices documentation.
• Complete new FSG facilities, expansions and improvement projects on time and within budget while working closely with local management.
• Working on improving process flow in different sites around the Globe.
• Ensure that all factories work in safe manner at all Flowserve, customer or supplier sites that are visited.
Prepare techno-commercial bid proposals for products to customers which involve review the project specifications, pump data sheets, process sheets, request motor quotations, and vendor document review. Provides technical support to our customers and is an extension of the sales force to ensure proper pump selection and successful operation of our products. Assist in developing new methods of solving problems and modifying existing pump designs to meet customer needs and improve pump life. Interact with Flowserve departments as needed to support the order process and assure on-time delivery of pump orders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate customer bid requirements, specifications, and other pertinent data.
• Assure proposed equipment meets technical and performance requirements.
• Prepare proposing using available information in Oracle for standard products.
• Work closely with Sales to facilitate the sales effort and keep them informed on proposal status.
• Review customer orders to insure they are acceptable relative to commercial terms, price, and delivery.
• Maximize hit rate of proposal by effectively working with customer service order acquisition group, management, Operations and Sales by determining competition, quoting strategies, market pricing levels and presenting proposals to customers in a manor to sell the project.
• Understand and implement Flowserve corporation policy to achieve both customer and company goals.
• Cooperate with other department to execute customer orders and meet customer requirements.
Assist in conducting data gathering and analysis to support the work measurement and operational planning activities. Compiles data, develops reports, conducts periodic audits, and produces forecasts. Gathers data needed for inside and on-road operations measurement, and works with time study teams to perform work sampling and update new or existing driver processes. Developing, maintaining and adjusting Master Operating Plans. Auditing and control duties include ensuring that control logs and standard files are updated, and that operations measures and reports are accurate and in compliance. Conducting audits (e.g., feeder or ground schedules, time cards, etc.) to identify non-compliant areas or processes, and monitors package operations to verify adherence to operating plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan delivery packages and stops for pickup volume in PKG Tools using analysis of trends.
• Review weekly trends (e.g., volume, economic data, etc.) and growth rates to approve volume projections and forecast future asset needs.
• Perform work measurement and methods planning that estimates, identifies and forecasts business indicators, such as feasibility, potential growth, costs, risks and benefits, by analyzing relevant data and statistics.
