1. Organization and management of intrusive site investigations, management of data and production of interpretative reports.
2. Planning for comprehensive geotechnical/geophysical investigations and geotechnical interpretive reports for facilities, buildings and hydrology/hydrogeology studies.
3. Review and check submitted geotechnical/geophysical reports from other consultants and contractors.
4. Design of substructures for assigned projects (i.e. foundations, retaining walls, Geo-synthetics…etc) using conventional and software methodologies.
5. Review construction design proposals and approve nontechnical aspects.
6. Giving advice and/ or follow up, in site, special soil treatments for structures and/or subsurface strata before/during construction (i.e. dewatering system, soil improvement…etc).
7. Prepare technical and financial proposals and tender documentation.
8. Research for the update knowledge and techniques in geotechnical engineering.
9. Interact with customers and team members to complete the assigned project on-time.
10. Involved as a member in the accreditation committee for laboratories and geotechnical consultants in Ministry of Education (MOE), General Authorization of Civil Aviation (GACA) and Medina Municipality).

2. Engineering Consultancy Services for Land Divisions in Medina city (client: Municipality of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah (Medina) Region).
3. Design of educational buildings and facilities (client: Ministry of education, Saudi Arabia).

The Project consists of a 1.0 km long and 60 m high concrete Buttress Dam in the Blue Nile river valley, flanked at Right and Left Bank by an Embankment Dam with a total length of 24 km, a maximum height above foundation of 40 m and a filling volume of 23.5 million m³. The reservoir will have a total storage capacity of 7.4 billion m³ of water and cover a surface area of 630 km².
The embankment dam is being constructed on clay soil foundation with underlying sand layers, so the construction of the downstream drainage system interconnecting with two rows of water pressure relief wells requires intense monitoring both in terms of survey and materials quality control. It is 600 million US dollars project.
Duties included:
1. Supervise, control and Inspection for Embankment dam geometry, filling materials and complex dam drainage system.
2. QA/QC of materials at site as well as stock piles and borrow areas.
3. Monitor and control contractual requirements as well as compliance with construction method statement and contractor’s QC procedures.
4. Prepare daily shift reports, assisting in preparing NCRs and various reports for seniors.
5. From April 2011, I was involved in geotechnical reports and issues related to the project beside site supervision and assisting the Chief Embankment Engineer for preparation special evaluation and handling of design drawings.
6. For Individual times, I was assigned to take the duties of Sr. Embankment Engineer:
- Supervision of site engineers team and assigned to them to handle the areas of work to ensure quality control for embankment dam.
- Investigations of different materials investigations at borrow areas and quarries and supervision of the new fill material trials.
- Conducting weekly site meeting with client and contractor and attending technical/general meetings.
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of work progress and comparing with the master program of project works.

1. Field exploration, Drilling & sampling.
2. Supervision of in-situ tests (SPT, CPT, DCP, plate load test…etc.) and laboratory tests.
3. Identifying required laboratory testing programs for projects.
4. Analysis of results, Preparing of soil profiles, relevant charts and drawings, assisting in final report of foundation recommendations and soil treatment (as consultant assistant) for projects.
5. Training for new engineers, interns (B.Sc and M.Sc students).

I participated as (Teaching assistant) and (Supervisor) for the undergraduates in the Soil mechanics and Strength of materials courses.
Responsibilities included:
1. Clarify the difficulties and discuss the tutorials of Soil Mechanics and Strength of materials courses with the B.Sc. students.
2. Teaching the laboratory tests of Soil Mechanics in lab for the B.Sc. students.
3. Training and Supervise new Teaching Assistants.
4. Assisting the supervisors for B.Sc. students in their Gradual Projects in the final year.
5. Evaluation and Reporting the Progress of the students to the department of Civil Engineering.
