(Proposal Engineer / Design Engineer)
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with customers to understand their processes and
develop the best solutions for their requirements.
• Ensure efficient development of estimates and prices in
alignment with operating and supporting departments.
• Develop budgets, estimate labor, material, construction costs
and project schedules
• Support proposal reviews with Senior Management.
• Preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Attending clients and consultants meetings, as required, in
support of the sales team to provide technical and commercial
support.
• Generating cost and pricing sheets to report material cost,
installation, in-direct cost and selling prices for management.
• Evaluate awarded project and preparing Rationalized budget.
• Preparing shop drawings and as-build drawings for electrical
scope of work for assigned projects.
• Preparing single line diagrams and load calculations.
• Calculating power cable sizes, short circuit current, and power
consumption.
• Study RFQ and other documents / drawings supplied by customer and propose a solution which fits
technical & commercial requirements
• Manage documentation for prequalification and technical stage.
• Creating Rationalized budget for awarded projects.
• Preparing preliminary drawing for pre-qualification and tender stage.
• Studying tender documents to design and estimate costs of electrical scope of work.
• Evaluate quotations and specifications for electrical items.
• Coordination with Mechanical Department on electromechanical design issues.
• Developing wiring diagram and interface drawing.
• Preparing site cable routes, lighting, earthing, telephone and fire alarm drawings.

Studying tender documents to design and estimate costs of electrical scope of work for tendering
functions in coordination with Business Development Department.
• Studying quotations and specifications of electrical items.
• Preparing shop drawings and as-build drawings for electrical scope of work of assigned projects.
• Preparing single line diagrams and load calculations.
• Coordination with Mechanical Department on electromechanical design issues.
• Preparing site cable routes, lighting, earthing, telephone and fire alarm drawings.
• Ensures timely delivery of electrical drawings and submittals to clients / consultants for approval.
Major Handled Projects**:
**In addition to participating intensively in pre-qualification, cost estimation, full engineering, and
commissioning for more than +30 of medium and small projects per year.
