Responsible of Controlling and Monitoring Red Line North Underground (RLN-UG) of the large and complex Metro Project. RLN Project cost is approx. USD 2 Billion. (RLN extends over a distance of approximately 13 km northward from Mushaireb station, with the construction of 7 new underground stations. Specifically, two parallel tunnels will be excavated, for the two directions of travel, for a length of about 11.6 km and an internal diameter of 6.17 meters)
-Acted as a business partner to the line departments and coordinated with Qatar Rail teams to prepared financial models, including helping with decision making, cost estimates, cash flow forecasts, budgeting, variance analysis, scenario analysis and risk assessment
-Maintained project cost breakdown structure
-Maintained accurate and up-to-date fixed asset register of the project
-Steered payment approval process and monitored the payment status of invoices of the project
-Ensured accurate preparation & reporting of monthly financial reports, cost estimation in strict accordance with deadlines
-Analyzed and prepared commentary on results to all stakeholders
-Performed account closing activities including the calculation of the accruals
-Exercised financial control to optimized the project and operation cost and timeline
-Established and implemented financial measures to enhance efficiency of the project and operations
-Maintained contact between finance, project management teams and all staff working directly or indirectly for Qatar Rail
-Ensured that all other departments use the guidance in financial matters
-Ensured that relevant financial information is communicated to the project enabling the project to effectively carry out its functions

3-Princess Noura University (PNU) Project at Riyadh, KSA (>30 M€)
-Created the matrix of project budget at OGER
