The thesis is based on positioning in Mobile communication using Data Correlation Method by using TEMS investigation and testing tool. The purpose of the thesis is to find out the potential exists in current UMTS signaling data to find the position of cell phone using Data Correlation Method with as much accuracy as possible. The goal and objective is to design an algorithm to find the position using DCM in such a way that, it supports the legacy Mobile Terminals on existing network without installing new hardware.
