I'm leading a team to asses the risks associated with SABIC mega and global projects, the responsibilities include ensuring a proper Risk Management process is followed thro all projects from feasibility studies until execution, the process include follwoing PMI RMP PMBOK® guidelines and ISO-31000 requirements.

These responsibilities include:

Manage internal and external assessments to identify risks per department and activity, receive feedback from businesses/ champions, and modify risk management strategy accordingly.

Manage risk monitoring through consolidated risk indicators and mitigation status for identified risks.

Ensure development and maintenance of risk register and update regularly in coordination with concerned departments.

Ensure support is provided to SABIC Projects in developing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for their risk register.

Manage the automation and maintenance of risk management modules in GRC system to maintain documentation and improve workflow efficiency.

Review identified, prioritized and categorized potential threats (financial, regulatory, people, operational, etc.), assess their impact on SABIC Projects, and recommend next steps.

Review developed mitigation and recovery plans to minimize risks and threats and ensure coordination with SABIC Projects in all phases.

Maintain regular follow-up with concerned stakeholders on risk mitigation analysis and mitigation plans development and implementation.

Ensure proper implementation of developed risk management plans and share reports with relevant stakeholders.

Evaluate SABIC Projects risk management current practices and provide subject matter expertise to identify areas of improvement.

Keep abreast of latest national and international risk management standards to identify best-fit risk management practices for SABIC Projects.

Develop and maintain SABIC Projects risk management strategy, standards, tools, and mitigation framework in line with best practices and lessons learned.

Assess and provide advice concerning developed risk management appetite, policies, guidelines, frameworks, producers, templates, forms, and criteria for risk identification, classification, assessment, and mitigation.

Develop and maintain framework to train SABIC Projects employees on set plans, onboard and raise awareness on new strategy, answer inquiries and concerns, and ensure continuous re-enforcement of risk culture across SABIC Projects.

Led an engineering team to look for a complete petrochemical complex reliability programs, including setting up peventive and predictive maintenance programs, asset maturity programs and conidtion monitoring, calculating MTBE, bad actors etc.

Instrumentations & Control System Maintenance Manager is a key asset Management role at SABIC and critical position
to ensure full Operational Readiness of the plants facility relate to control systems and instrumentations.
The primary purposes of the position include daily administration of the control systems and
Instrumentation maintenance activities, providing leadership, direction, and coordination to achieve a
proper balance between production and sound equipment management.

Accountabilities:

• Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards for SABIC and outside regulatory agencies are complied
• Ensure process safety management elements are implemented
• Champion and lead review of all JSA's and SMP's
• Champion and revise all Lock Tag matrices
• Improve and maintain the following of Safety standards and violations reporting of SHARQ through AMAN Systems
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal/State Regulations and SHE specifications and standards
• Monitor and enforce sound operating practices based on policy, SOP, SMP etc.
• Responsible for area business objectives and optimization of processes, methodology, and technological applications
• Provide clear direction and expectations regarding work performance in the areas of HSE,
• Production, Cost Control, and Quality
• Development of training initiatives associated Instrumentations /Process Control improvements
• Responsible for creating and maintaining alignment in Instrumentation and Process Control to achieve maximum performance in the areas of HSE, Production, Cost Control, and Quality.
• Provides leadership, direction, and coordination of Instrumentations and Process Control maintenance with Asset Management and production groups
• Develop strategies to maximize asset and equipment life-cycle management
• Assist with development of Instrumentation and control systems maintenance budget at SHARQ

• Worked as project engineer for Petrochemia Olefin-2 for the revamping project of the old Honeywell EPKS 200 controllers to the new EPKS 300 controllers, the project include site surveying, updating the As built documentation for cable schedules, loop drawings, and logic diagrams.
• In charge of the design, configuration and logic implementation of Honeywell Experion PKS DCS system.

 The responsibilities include system installation, commissioning and start up.
 Detailed engineering, design and system integration.
 EPKS Server and Client Installation
 Detailed software engineering of the control logics.
 Third Party Interface OPC Configuration, Modbus Configuration
 Implementation of logic diagrams.
 Preparation of system configuration diagrams, BOM etc.
 The commissioning of Safety PLCs Honeywell FSC & Safety Manager.
 E-Server Configuration & Implementation.
 PHD Plant Historian Data Configuration, Implementation.


SHARQ Utility plant DCS & ESD Revamping project, 2007

• Revamping & Engineering details to revamp the old Yokogawa DCS into DCS (Honeywell-EPKS 3000 and the revamping for the ESD system form Honeywell FCS to Triconex ESD V9.1.

• Participated in Haradh-3 project to design and lead the instillation / commissioning activities for the advanced 130 Multi-phase meters procured by Aramco.

The project activities included:

a) The detail engineering design of the 130 MPFM as per customer specification
b) FAT & SAT of the MPFM to ensure meeting customers’ requirements
c) Lead the commissioning engineering team to start-up of the Multi phase units in Haradh-3 Project
d) Define the interlock signals and perform the function check between MPFM and ESD system
e) Commissioning activities included Establishing communication between DCS and MPFM through Modbus communication via wireless RTU form GOSP CCR to filed.

• The other activities and project with Roxar-Emerson included the commissioning, installation and start-up of various Roxar instrumentation products including:

a) The Multiphase meters MPFM
b) Gas detection systems
c) Flare monitoring Systems
d) Sand monitoring systems
e) Ultra sonic flow meters

The responsibility included installation/configuration and establishing communication to 3rd party systems through SCADA.

• In charge of the installation and filed support of the Roxar products in Harad3 Project with the commissioning of over 50 MPFM's and multi field devices, which include establishing the communication to 3rd party systems such as DCS and shutdown systems.

• In charged of the field support and maintenance of the Roxar products of Aramco Berri Field and Safanyia Field.
