NOC Transmission/IP Datacom Team Leader in Wajda Group at VIVA Bahrain MS Project, Kingdom of Bahrain
Brief Description: NOC TX/IP Datacom Team Leader in Huawei Technologies at VIVA Bahrain MS Project. I am working on Transmission (MW / DWDM), IP Datacom, Enterprise and RAN NOCs with an enhanced skill sets, customer and Huawei management satisfaction.
Team Lead Transmission MW / DWDM / GPON Network Operations Center (NOC/L1 Support)
• Troubleshooting and Integration of Transmission Network Elements by using Centralize Monitoring System of Huawei EMS (U2000) for routine O&M related issues according to Fault Management, Network Surveillance & Performance Measurement.
• Configuration of MW links Huawei Optix RTN series such as RTN620/620/950/950A as well as, new E-Band MW links which is recently introduced & implemented by Huawei for high throughput achievements.
• Trouble shooting of both IP and TDM (Hybrid) technologies.
• First & second line Fault Diagnostics and troubleshooting or escalation to concerns department like Third Level Support or GTAC/ R&D and keep follow-up the issue to recover the alarms in agreed SLA.
• Identify the location and severity (Critical/Major/Minor) of the alarm or event of systems and initiate recovery actions, notification procedures.
• Day to day analysis of Microwave Links Availability / Performance by analyzing statistics
Keeping Eye on Microwave links BW to balance the STM-Traffic and make a plan in case utilization reaches up-to 60%
• Keep an eye on International data traffic links utilization through CACTI/MRTG Monitoring Tools.
• Spot-check major contractors on day to day basis as a means to measure real progress and highlight strong points in service delivery trends.
IP Datacom / Enterprise Network Operations Center (NOC/L1 Support)
• Trouble shooting of day to day issue with other team (RAN, PS, CS, VAS, IT)
• Enterprise & OLO’s (Other Local Operators) Customers complaints handling and coordination with customers in order to solve their complaints/queries such as Latency issues, disconnection of Layer-2 & Layer-3, Slowness of internet speed etc.
• Critical, Major, Minor alarm analysis and troubleshooting for their rectification
• MPLS Performance & KPI monitor and MPLS Ports, IP, VLAN planning
• Remote access VPN account management
• New IPSEC VPNS for Clients
• Datacom device account management
• L2 switch install and service migration
• Updating IPCORE connectivity Information
• LTE IP Planning and configurations
• MPLS Expansion Project
• 3rd Party Servers IP assignment and Integration
• Database and IP connectivity update
• Enterprise and Wholesales customer complaints handling with customer satisfaction
Wireless RAN (2G, 3G, LTE) Network Operations Center (NOC/L1 Support)
• Responsible for the allocation, attendance and quality of 24x7x365 monitoring
• Responsible for analyzing the faults and report them in proper escalation path
• Monitoring and Diagnostic the alarms of Huawei 2G/3G Networks
• Charging and Creation of Trouble Tickets
• Fault Management technical support
• Performance and Configuration Management technical support
• Working on BSC/RAN daily maintenance checks
• Liaise with field teams and subcontractors, to correct radio Network faults and performance
• degradations as per standards of customer
• Escalation point Monitoring for BSC/RAN issues

• Making the daily Outages Report, halted sites and intermittent sites report
• Familiar with UMTS ATM & IP based Networks.
• BTS/NodeB3900 and escalation of faults to FM, BO and third line support.
• Follow up of the faults with Field maintenance, Back Office and Third line support.
• Measuring the performance of the whole network and KPI Analysis using Huawei I Manager M2000 and Huawei performance monitoring tool MOS5200.
• Reporting the performance results and commenting on any unexpected result explaining the reason and Sending it to Customer
Projects Delivered:
As Projects Implementation Coordinator in Wajda Group, I have successfully delivered following projects with their description with full customer satisfaction
Omantel 3G Rollout / Swap Sites
Omantel class-A project and 600+ Omantel 3G sites across the Sultanate have been delivered, including satellite transmission, repeater transmission, fiber transmission media sites under this project. We still are proudly counting on this project in the Sultanate.
o Installation of Huawei Wireless Products DBS 3900, BTS 3900, BTS 3900L, APM Outdoor, Huawei Mini Shelter, OMB Cabinets, Antenna, Feeder, RET, TMA
o 3G sites integration with designated IP plan, CX / ATN port connectivity and port configuration and service testing for 3G
o Strong customer coordination and reporting throughout the project and team follow up
Omantel LTE Rollout / Swap Sites
Omantel Class-A project under which more than 400 sites have been deployed and still counting, involving following project activities
o Site survey for LTE feasibility, Material Request, Delivery Note Preparation
o Huawei DBS3900 installation as per Huawei and Omantel standards
o Huawei DBS 3900 LTE site integration over fiber media and testing for LTE services
o Huawei CX / ATN port configuration for designated IP plan for site implementation
o Site acceptance offer to customer and on site acceptance and project invoicing follow up
Omantel Wireless Enhancement Project
In this project I have managed to deliver 400 and still counting, sites for U900 and GU900 solution. Project activities include
o Motrolla 2G to Huawei swap and installation of DBS 3900 to facilitate 2G + UMTS services as GU900
o Site commissioning to provide U900 / GU900 services either on existing Huawei 3G system or as a new DBS
o Sites acceptance and invoicing follow up against PO, SCR and PACs
Omantel Antenna Moderation Project
This project included swap for all technologies antenna with single Agisson Hexa Band Antenna per sector. Project involved a lot RF and network design changes and in addition U900 implementation within Muscat region for Omantel. 440 sites have been implemented so far.
o All 2G, 3G, LTE TDD, LTE FDD technologies antenna swap with a Hexa Band antenna
o Huawei DBS 3900 installation for U900 addition in the network
o RET, TMA installation and configuration as per RF plan and better services
Omantel Access Network Implementation
In this project Omantel traffic rings topology was implemented using Huawei ATN 910, ATN 950B products.
o Installation of Huawei ATN 910, 950B equipment as per Omantel requirements
o Site acceptance with customer, project and quality reporting and invoicing follow up
Omantel IP Core Stabilization Project
Project includes installation of Huawei CX200, CX 300, CX 600, Huawei MSAN8800, OSN 6800, Huawei OLT (MA5603) racks and sub racks installation in Omantel exchanges through the Sultanate. Also additional protection on optical layer as in Stabilization scope.
o Delivery for Huawei CX 200, CX 300, CX 600 and installation in exchange sites as per Omantel approved layout, requirements and standards
o Integration CX, MSAN, OSN, OLT equipment and link establishment with IP Core NOC
Omantel Microwave Contract
Installation of Huawei RTN 910, 950 microwave transmission equipment. 200 links have been delivered under this project as new links and Ericsson swap links
o LOS survey and LOS feasibility reports preparation as per customer format
o Commission of RTN 910, 950 to establish 3G / 4G services and link alignment to achieve RSL prescribed in the link budget
Omantel IBS Project Implementation
Installation of Huawei DBS 3900 as in building / malls (IBS) sites. 70 and still counting sites have been delivered with customer satisfaction
o Installation of Huawei DBS 3900 as per approved layouts
o Fiber connectivity between DBS in IBS sites as RRU are installed as per DAS implementation
Job Responsibilities / Expertise

Project Title : CMPAK (Zong) MS Project
o Managing 900+ CMPak (Zong / ZTE) BTS / BSC Sites in Lahore Region
o Managing more 150+ employees including Field Staff, NOC Staff, Logistic, Warehouse, Transmission & Non-Telco staff
o Attending weekly and monthly KPI meetings with client ZTE / CMPak (Zong) to showcase progress and discussions on issues and sorting out the solutions for betterment of network
o Planning the activities and trackers for in time implementation and tracking of ongoing in the regional level network.
o To deal with PO & Invoices against services & Work orders ( Schedule work)
o Skilled in building excellent report with team members to achieve the targets
o Leading from the ends provide strong technical support to field teams
o Maintaining continuous relationship and coordination with customer to ensure the project management performances meet with customer qualification
o Sites Audit for PM \[Preventive Maintenance\] and CM \[Corrective Maintenance\] to check out the quality of Maintenance and give a better response to Customer.

o Commissioning of ZTE SDR sites using LMT V4.00.30.08P14 software.
o VSWR tests for antennas & measuring “VSWR” with "Site Master" equipment.
o Installation RRU, RSU, Fiber Cable and RRU RF Jumper’s.
o Installation and rectification of ZTE EASS Alarm System on SDR sites
o Complete commission of External Alarms using ZTE DDF / MISU / GSUR systems
o Trouble shooting of equipments if there is any problem during installation
o Submitting different Reports as per customer requirement
o Installation and troubleshooting for transmission equipment Huwaei Optix RTN 950, 910 Transmission Equipment
