Main responsibilities & achievements:

Qetaifan Island North (QIN) project at Lusail:
o Managing the architectural and QCDD (life safety plans, fire alarm, firefighting and mechanical ventilation) submissions and approvals for the QIN masterplan and all QIN’s assets; Beach Club, 5* Hotel, Retail & Festival Plaza, Juma Mosque, Waterpark and Linear Park.
o Managing the FLS team to ensure drawings, reports & documents submissions are as per agreed time frame and budget.
o Planning stakeholder activities and put it align with project schedule.
o Reporting the status of Authority approvals, pending issues and presented to client and project leadership.
o Successfully managing design and approval processes during the COVID-19 pandemic through productive remote working, highly effective communication with the remote team, able management of the team, online delivery of work, and liaison with relevant authorities remotely.
o Providing FLS engineering studies, design reports, occupant load and egress capacity calculations.
o Managing the Qatar authorities’ liaison, submissions and approvals. Approvals have been received from Lusail, MME, Civil Aviation Authority, Qatar Civil Defence, MoI, Building Permit Complex, Kharmaa, Ashghal and Awqaf.
o Ensuring the design is in compliance with NFPA codes and local authority requirements.
o In September 2019, I went to Bangalore, India, our Global Design Centre (GDC) and managed the FLS team to deliver FLS detailed design submissions for two major assets, 5* Hotel and Festival Plaza in the QIN project.
o Reviewing detailed masterplans, infrastructure and utility packages and providing input and required FLS.
o Coordinate and develop responses to Reviewer comments, Client, tender queries, contractor’s queries, etc.

Doha South project:
o Our scope is to deliver concept & detailed design project. The project is build using BIM 360. Drawings and documents review, and comment processes must be done through BIM 360. The project consists of Pump Shaft 44m deep, Screen Shaft 38m deep, Electrical & Control building, Standby Power Facility, Firefighting Pump House, Odour Control Facility, Security Guard House and Diesel Storage Tanks.

Al Bustan North project:
o Our scope is to deliver concept & detailed design project for Road Tunnel, Pedestrian Footbridges, Utility Buildings. Also, to ensure the design is in compliance with local authorities and NFPA codes.
o Managing the Qatar authorities’ liaison, submissions and approvals.

LACASA came to Qatar in 2010 and acquired Lusail Engineering Consultancy (LEC) office which was established by me in mid of 2007.
I established the Lusail Engineering Consultancy (LEC) in mid of 2007 and grow it to become grade “A” Architectural and Civil engineering consultancy registered as per Qatar Engineering Committee law.

Main responsibilities:
• Facilitate the acquisition processes and transferring all staff names from LEC to be under Lacasa Qatar office registration.
• Assisting the Lacasa Qatar branch manager in managerial office requirements, introduction to the existing clients, and other management tasks.
• Manage all staff reporting to the position so as to effectively recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities.
• Organizing of resources, and assigning the design team / personnel to the projects as seen appropriate and depending on individual experience

• Public Works Authority, Pre-Contract Professional Design Consultancy Services For Seven New Mosques at Various Locations in Qatar
