MAIN TASKS:
• Dedicated and results-driven with a proven track record of effectively managing complex contractual relationships and driving successful project outcomes on the Tortue Project. Managing the main contracts of FPSO and FLNG contract for Tortue Project. Lead the Project Team in establishing other materials and services contract/purchase order in supporting project requirement.
• Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, partnership agreements, and other legal documents. Establishing, managing, and administering FPSO, FLNG (1.2 MMPTA), Pre-Commissioning and other services for GTA 1 (Tortue 1) Projects. Project value is USD 8 Billions. Main Project contracts as below:
1. FLNG EPCIC (1.2 MMPTA)
2. EPCIC for Midstream (Gas Processing Plant)
3. Provision of Project Management Consultancy to Support as Owner's Engineers
4. The Provision of Consultancy Advisory Services for FLNG Operational and Maintenance (O&M)
5. GPP BOO - Pipeline System BOT
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
1. Managed to negotiate the FLNG contract and save the company money for about USD 50 Million.
2. GTA-1 project has been recognised by industry for the second time this year; the first time was at the MSGBC conference in Dakar in September 2022 as the best gas project of the year. This time by the Association of Project Management (APM), which is the only chartered membership organisation representing the project profession in the world.
MAIN TASKS:
• Establishing and managing the Engineering, Contruction and Commissioning contract for Integrated Service Contract(ISC). ISC is Global Agreement for Engineering Design, Fabrication & Construction and Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning services.
• Drive the team in exercising the contracting activities in supporting Project and Operation Team for Construction of Oil Processing Plant, Road and Facilities Construction and Pipeline laying project.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Established the Integrated Service Contract (EPCC) covering engineering & construction services, maintenance services, support services and project management services for Oman Oil Exploration & Production.
MAIN TASKS:
• Prepare and manage tender paper for EPC contract for petrochemical expansion project covering the three units of Polyol Production Unit, Naphtha Processing Unit and Sulfur Recovery Unit.i.e., Korean EPC firm GS Engineering & Construction was awarded with $1.78 billion EPC for 2nd Phase expansion Rabigh Petrochemical Complex (for production Ethylene-Vinyl acetate & low-density polyethylene and ethylene propylene. Japan JGC firm conducting FEED study, KBR do basic engineering consulting, Petrofac and Saipem provide tank farm and common utilities services.
• Prepare and manage the tender paper for Long Form Contracts for Plant’s and Shutdown & Plants Maintenance Services, Turnaround contracts, Materials Management, Plants Operations, Construction, Information Technology (IT) Projects/Operations, Training Services, Marine & Port Services, Logistics, Operation & Maintenance Services and Transportation:
• Develops complete tender specifications including detailed technical specification, bids’ evaluation matrix and cost estimates in consultation with Specialist Contracts, Specialist Shutdowns, Sr. Engineer Tank Repair and Superintendents of Plant Maintenance Dept. Finalize the tender document including the General Terms & Conditions document.
MAIN TASKS:
Drive the team in exercising the sourcing and contracting activities in supporting Drilling and Facility activities.
• Reviewed the strategy, technical and commercial paper prior presenting to Tender Committee.Use Category Management & Strategic Sourcing concepts while developing tenders by focusing on consolidation & specification optimization.
• Implemented and achieved in establishing new contracts for Infrastructure Project: EPCIC for Oil Platform for Development Field, EPCIC tender for FPSO, acquiring a new oil field block from PETRONAS Carigali.
• Implemented and achieved in establishing new contracts for Company’s Operations: Operation and Maintenance Services for FPSO and new Platform, Logistics Contract for Vessel and Helicopter, Warehouse contract, Manpower contract, Transportation, and Installation.
• Implemented and achieved in establishing new contracts for Drilling Operations: OCTG, Wireline Services, Tubular Handling, Drilling Fluids, Waste Management, Well Controls Services, Auxiliary Cementing, MWD, Cementing, Long Lead Items (LLI) etc.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Successfully managed seven (7) personnel of procurement team.
Established ALL contracts for EPCIC, FSO/FPSO, Marginal Field (Anjung Kecil Field), Logistics and Drillings Services.
Prepared Agreement in taking over Marginal Field operation (Anjung Kecil) from PETRONAS Carigali to Vestigo Petroleum. The contract worth was RM600 Million.
MAIN TASKS:
• Managing the establishment, the main contract for 7 development projects.
• Supervised and closely monitored tendering exercise and assisted the team to meet agreed tender schedule.
• Reviewed the tender paper/ITB prior being issued to the bidder.
• Established new contracts for Overall Contracting Strategy for Seven (7) new projects. These projects include new exploration for drilling fields, new fields development, extension of new pipeline and wells.
• Established Contracts for Supply Base and Warehousing, Logistics Services, Rigs, and other drilling services (OCTG, Wireline Services, Tubular Handling, Long Lead Items (LLI) Drilling Fluids, Waste Management, Well Controls Services, Auxiliary Cementing, Inland Logistic, Fix Wing, Helicopter, Well Testing, Civil Work for Well Site, etc.)
• Established the new contracts for Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Details Design, Rigs, Long Lead Items (LLI) and others Drilling Contract Services.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Managed and handled the ALL-procurement activities for SEVEN (7) development projects with total value amounting to USD1.4 BILLION.
MAIN TASKS:
• Led and managed contractual/procurement and logistics activities under drilling opeartion in Malaysia, Cuba, Muzambique and Brunei. Covering the tasks including but not limited to establishing the Contracts for Supply Base and Warehousing, Logistics Services, Rigs, and other drilling services (OCTG, Wireline Services, Tubular Handling, Long Lead Items (LLI) Drilling Fluids, Waste Management, Well Controls Services, Auxiliary Cementing, Inland Logistic, Fix Wing, Helicopter. Involved and Liaised with Government, Local and Regulatory Authorities to ensure all logistics matters are conducted in compliance with local regulations.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Negotiating contracts for logistics contracts and operations is a responsibility. Saved the company $4 million through negotiation and optimization of logistics contracts.
Managed logistical support of PETRONAS Carigali domestics and international to support exploration-drilling operation.
MAIN TASKS:
• Led and managed Procurement and Logistics department in PETRONAS CARIGALI Ethiopia. Lead the team in exercising the sourcing, contracting and logistics activities in supporting Drilling, Seismic and Demining operation in the country. Established the Contracts for rig and other contracts drilling services (OCTG), Wireline Services, Tubular Handling, Drilling Fluids, Waste Management, Well Controls Services, Auxiliary Cementing, Inland Logistic, Fix Wing, Helicopter, Well Testing, Civil Work for Well Site, etc.)
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Established the contracts for drilling, seismic and logistics is a responsibility. Implementing and achieved all contracts ready for utilization on time is an achievement.
Mobilizing the rig to the location is responsibility. Mobilized the onshore rig with distance of 1800km without incident is an achievement.
Managing an eight (8) employee procurement team is a responsibility. Increased the procurement team’s productivity was a result.
MAIN TASKS:
• Established contract for drilling services (OCTG, Wireline Services, Tubular Handling, Drilling Fluids, Waste Management, Well Controls Services, Auxiliary Cementing, Inland Logistic, Fix Wing, Helicopter, Well Testing, Civil Work for Well Site, etc.)
• Managed appointed freight forwarders/custom agents and other service provider to logistics.
• Liaised with Government, Local and Regulatory Authorities to ensure all logistics matters are conducted in compliance with local regulations.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Managed and initiated all the tenders assigned to me for the period September 2005 to October 2008 i.e., a total of 30 tenders under the Master Procurement Plan (MPP) as endorsed by the host country, PETRONAS.
