Procurement Manager
Project: King Abdullah International Gardens (KAIG), Total Value 1.90 billion SR - Client; Riyadh Municipality - Consultant; DAR AL HANDASA - RIYADH - KSA
A- Senior Tendering Engineer
1. In addition to my responsibilities as a procurement manager, I was assigned to study government tenders like Al Qiddiya and King Salman Park (1 Billion SR).
2. Study the new items in the project, analyze them, and present them to the competent authority for approval (100 Million)
3. Study the lost items and replace them with profitable items through new specifications in variation order (45 Million).
B- Procurement Manager (Civil, Arch., Landscape, Hard cape)
RESPONSIBILITIES and ACHIEVEMENTS:
1. Negotiate, manage, and select the most suitable vendors who can supply high quality at a competitive price and short time.
2. Develop, implement, and drive procurement strategies, purchasing, and sourcing to meet cost savings targets.
3. Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies to secure better prices.
4. Set policies and guidelines for delivering commercial
5. Develop critical relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners
6. Create monthly performance reviews, reports, procurement flow charts, central follow-up, and central controlling sheet
7. Train the team on effective procurement processes and strategy & make financial and technical comparisons.
8. Follow up with suppliers and contractors after signing the contract to ensure their commitment to the site.
9. Preparing agreements, determining the subcontractors' work scope, and submitting approval.
11. Manage the preparation and submission for the supplier, subcontractor, and material-technical submittal.
12. Manage foreign correspondence and foreign purchases and follow the required documents.
13. Support the Cost Control Department with the related information to support the project Variation Orders
14. Manage the communications plan with the consultant, Vendors, and Subcontractors
15. Evaluating Suppliers and sub-contractors
16. Create, coordinate with the Planner, and Monitor the Procurement schedule
17. Ensure commercial, legal, and contractual compliance in all procurement transactions.
18. Attracting and approving international companies to work on the project in specialized items such as the ETFE system, fossil skeleton, and float sphere.
19. Obtain the maximum benefit and meet objectives related to cost, delivery, schedule, and quality
20. Meet cost savings and make continuous improvements
