-Develop and implement comprehensive project controls strategies, plans, and systems to optimize project performance and deliverables.
-Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and analyze potential delays, providing recommendations to maintain the overall project baseline.
-Identify and assess project risks, collaborating with project teams to develop risk management strategies.
-Manage change orders, variations, and scope changes while maintaining alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
-Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track project performance and identify areas for improvement.
-Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, specifications, and other project-related documents.
-Prepare and develop supporting documents for EOT claims according to master schedule and contract conditions.
-Prepare periodical progress reports, presentations, and present data to top management in progress review meetings.
-Support the Project Manager & Cost Control Manager in overseeing the budget development and forecast to ensure efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
-Direct and monitor the issuance of the Engineering Deliverables based on the Schedule or Site Requirements “During the Construction Phase”.
-Direct and monitor the procurement team during vendors / sub-contractor(s) selection starting from bidding phase “RFQ” up to site delivery/completion of scope “ROS”.
-Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the Company / Contract standards.
-Collaborate with the project team during the construction phase to manage and maximize the work front analyzing the available Engineering Drawings, Material and Site Conditions.
-Support the Construction / Field Manager to manage and direct the construction contractor(s) to maximize the productivity / achieve the schedule by analyzing the actual productivity rates, manpower & equipment.
-Lead and mentor junior project controls teams to assure continuous improvement and development.
Supervise the construction activities of main subsea structures (Suction Piles, Manifolds, PLET, UTA & TSB) & the pre and post metrology fabrication of the vertical jumper spools.
Control material take off (MTO) and review the structure drawings and piping isometrics.
Witness the cleaning, hydrostatic testing, de-watering, drying and MEG filling for jumpers & piping included in the structures.
Supervise the construction of pipelines in desert land including their relevant activities such as trenching, stringing, welding, coating, lowering, sand- bedding, back filling, cleaning, gauging, hydrostatic testing, de-watering, drying and nitrogen purging
-Control Material Take Off (MTO) & review piping isometrics
Manage the construction activities to be done safely with good quality according to the company policies, procedures and regulations and also according to the standards and specifications
