•Setting up the Network Infrastructure (Domain, File Server, Firewall, ….)
• Defining IT department organizational chart and establishment of minimum qualifications and recruitment criteria, and decision making on filling vacant positions within IT department.
• Defining Job Descriptions for IT personnel and adjusting duties and responsibilities of positions within the group if necessary.
• Defining and implementing IT Policies and forms for IMS, QMS and ISO 9001.
• Leading a team of infrastructure operation engineers and Technical supports through the company sites and vessel.
• Planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications in systems and network infrastructure across company offices and vessels.
• Design, implementation, documentation and management of company network.
• Project Manager of company ERP implementation (Bassnet).
• Managing company ERP in office and on the vessel remotely.
• Managing uptime of all sites and network devices and servers and remote sites as per SLA.
• Defining system KPIs and providing regular KPI Reports to MD on defined intervals.
• Tracking deviations in SLA and seeking service credit/ refunds for SLA deviated by service providers.
• Guidance and working with department heads to help implementing internal system and new solutions.
• Getting new potential sites explored for establishment of new centers and offices.
• Development, implementation, testing and documentation of company backup system (On-site, Off-Site).
• Overseeing troubleshooting, systems backups, Disaster Recovery and provide expert support when necessary for escalated issues of remote sites.
• Troubleshooting during major outages and shutdowns and planning for prompt recovery of system.
• Managing and monitoring company Internal VOIP system (Elastix).
• Defining training plans and conducting internal trainings courses and materials for employees.
• Planning and forecasting IT requirements for all sites (Offices and Vessel).
• Supervise and provide training to new engineers in the team across the company also provide training for new products and modifications in the network components whenever required.
• Meeting and discussion with all the major basic services operators for any problems or concerns related to existing network connectivity, network projects at new locations and up gradation of existing infrastructure in the data centers or wireless stations.
