Warehousing & Logistics Management
• We have started with 3PL in June 2020 to reduce the operational cost and to close our Madina warehouse. In Madina, our yearly operational expenses were recorded SAR 638, 895.00 ($170, 372) yearly (24th March 2020).
By switching to 3PL, yearly expected saving was around: SAR 398, 664.000 (($106, 310.4), therefore Total monthly cost recorded at that time based on simulation were SAR 33, 222.00 ($ 8, 859.2)
Our saving prediction was 100% accurate and we saved more than our expectations. (Around $ 318, 931.20 Savings) - 3 years.
• Customs Clearence rates reduced by 14% per container on Feb 2023/compared to last year & then rates reduced by 36% per container (June 2023) / compared to last year.
• The world-class standard for inventory record accuracy today stands at 99.5 percent - as a minimum. While only a relatively few organizations even can claim they are performing at or above this standard, the harsh reality is that most companies still are struggling with inaccurate inventory. We achieved 99.5+ inventory accuracy last year 2022.
• We are expecting SAR 300K ($80, 000) savings from 15th March till 31st December 2023, we have revoked the insurance of Transporter and managed our own floating insurance by paying only AED 9, 006/- against 2023 fiscal year.
• Negotiate freight cost with freight forwarders and make new agreements with new forwarders when necessary.
• Communicate with other warehouse managers on delivery of shipments.
• Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
• Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer and supplier’s issues.
• Issue weekly and monthly report, cost saving report, progress report, action plans & overhead
charges report.
• Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
• Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
• Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
• Prepare or file environmental certification applications.
• Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
• Coordinate with customs clearance, freight and insurance agencies for shipment discrepancies and
reimbursement of damaged/lost goods value.
• Coordinate with Commercial, IT and Finance to do the needful before receiving the shipments.
• Conduct or review environmental audits for logistics activities, such as storage, distribution, or
transportation.
• Coordinate with purchase department and finance for LC creation and documentation receipt.
• Collect and verify the original shipping documents for submission to Customs clearance agents and to make sure all documents are available before the arrival of goods at port.
• Research and plan the most appropriate route for air shipments, ocean freight shipments within
agreed free detention days.

• Liaising with third parties Like DHL, Aramex, Expeditors, TNT, DB Schenker and Agility to move goods by air.

• Handles all necessary paperwork as per local or origin country rules and regulations
• Checking Invoices and processing payments advance & outstanding, Dealing with Accounts Dept and buyers.
• Ensuring the order entrance in system once the buying worksheet is checked and clear queries if any once the shipment is received in warehouse.
• Responsible to contact the governance department or other concerned departments to get the needed documents, for any special clearance requirements.
• Communicating with supplier on Payment and discounts once agreed sending LC draft for approval, up on approval sending to Account for processing.
• Familiar with ICT (International Commercial Terms) like, EX Works, FOB (Free On Board), CFR ( Cost & Freight).Maintain confidentiality of clients.
• Receive all materials into inventory, process purchase orders for daily receipts, and notify departments received shipments.
• Develop and implement strategic plan to accommodate corporate goals.
Supervises receipts of all supplies and equipment and their proper storage or Distribution.
• Train new employees, assign responsibilities and duties. Handling the systematically flow with accuracy. Maintain atmosphere of harmony and goodwill between warehouse staff customers.
