The project is construction, maintenance, and testing of 11 KV substations for Kahrama. Here my duties
include:
* Emergency shutdown of 11 KV substations
* Commissioning of VCB’s
* Replacement of OCB’s
* Replacement of transformers
* Bypassing of indoor switchgear to outdoor switchgear
* High Voltage test to ensure health of cable
* Live phasing
* Megger test
* Phase rotation
* Earthing test
* Documentation of work
* Management of jointers and fitters
* Crane and manpower management
* Completing the shutdown within the prescribed limit of permit to work

* Insulation Test

* Mechanical trips Test
* Responsible For Supervising Dehydrating Plant For Oil Purification And Dismantling
Transformer Accessories For Transportation And Re Assembling After Transportation
Within The Grid Station
* Replacement and Augmentation of Power Transformer in Pesco Grid Stations
* Coordinated new and up gradation process control project
I was involved in following tasks during Internship:
* Technical Audit of grid stations
* Transformer oil sampling for its DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis) and BDV.
* Cooling fan installation on transformer.
* Briefing USAID officials on their site visits
* Handing over procured material to Pesco store officer
