Duties
Responsible for all in-house precast concrete and steel fabrication works. Co-coordinating with all projects (pre-contract and post-contract) to identify the steel fabrication and precast concrete work. Also study the project to convert cast in-situ work to precast concrete work for time saving. Detailing and preparation of drawings with assistance of drawing department. Identify the sources of required raw material to guide the purchase department to procure proper material as per specifications or suggest alternatives. Scheduling the activities with respect to the master plan of the project. Training the supervisory staff and techniticians for the concerned work.
Incase of major precast concrete works which cannot be done with in-house facilities appoint the precast concrete sub-contractor. Co-ordinate with precast concrete contractor for drawings, material approvals, method statements, schedule of works with respect to the master plan of the project, quality assurance, safety requirements.

• Co-ordination with cast in-situ works with assistance of supervisory staff.
• Monitor overall progress with respect to project schedule, Quality and & safety standards

A.3 April 1997 to 2006: CONCRETE TECHNLOGY LLC, DUBAI
(Post: Erection Manager)
Reporting to General Manager
Associated with concrete Technology (one of the leading Precast Construction Co. in UAE) as Erection Manager. Have been one of the employee since establishment of the organization. Have been involved in all stages of development starting from scratch, including the selection of personnel at various levels and training them.
Duties
• Being the head of the Erection Department, Repsonsible for setting up the Department.
• Planning and arranging the additional personnel to suit the additional requirements with expanding business of the organization.
• Pre-contract study of project to assist commercial department in pricing and to assist design department in concept and proposals.
• Assist design department to ensure the practical workability of design and details.
• Co-ordination with Clients/Main Contractors to agree work schedule and sequences w. r. t. Master plan.
• Prepare work Schedules for Precast works with assistance of planning engineer.
• Studying the requirements of cranes and arranging special high capacity cranes as required.
• Instrumental in preparing budgets.
• Co-ordinate with Engineering department for the sequence of issuing of shop drawings to suit the project requirements.
• Co-ordinate with production Department and monitor the production to suit the project requirements.
• Co-ordinate with Transport department to monitor and ensure the timely deliveries of the precast elements.

Worked as construction manager for the project Sheikh
Zayed Military Housing Project- 219 Villas at Shahama, Abu Dhabi - Contract Value about 143 Millions, each villa @ 395m2 on plot of 45m X 35m, with 5 Bed rooms, Main Majlis, store, maid's room, with sloping sandwich panel roof, external Precast concrete and common siporex boundary walls, kerbs, interlocks and landscape. Finishes involved marble floor and steps, Terrazzo flooring, ceilings, emulsion paint to internal walls and textured paint to external walls.
Duties: Site administration, schedules of works, organizing day to day activities, supervision of supervisory and survey staff, co-coordinating with sub-contractors, material/work inspection submittals, liaising with consultants, monitoring the progress with respect to quality, schedules, budgets and the safety standards, monthly valuation and payment certificates, certifying sub-contractors invoices.
B. May 1992 - June 1994 AL-ROWAD CONTRACTING, DOHA, QATAR
In Qatar Post: Senior Projects Engineer
Worked as senior projects Engineer, was responsible a number of projects at a time - Villas, swimming pools and recreation centers, refurbishment of villas and apartments, stables.
Duties: Schedules of work and material, procurement of material, guiding site engineers/foremen, liaising with consultants and clients, coordinating with MEP contractors, involved in tendering and proposals, also involved in interviews and selection of new staff and labours from India.
C. 1986 - 1991 in Oman (a) AZAIBA CONSTRUCTION CO. OMAN
Post: Civil Engineer
Worked on the project of villa complex foe H.E Moh'd
Zubair consisting of main villa, recreation centre,
Servants' quarters, swimming pool, outdoor car ports, guest suites, concrete roads, kerbs, pavements, boundary walls, hard and soft landscaping, external services such as drainage, manholes, electrical drawpits, holding tanks, sewage treatment plant.
Finishes: Marble, ceramic tiling, terrazzo tiling, Lebanese stone cladding and coping, GRP features, ceramic roof tiling for pergolas, water proofing to roofs, Moroccan carved Plaster, Moroccan Zellij work.
Duties: Site administration and set-up, planning, organizing day to day activities, supervision of minor supervisory staff, setting out, coordinating with mechanical, electrical and landscaping contractors, liaison with consultant, material planning - taking quantities and requisition of materials. Post contract work: Quantity surveying, monthly valuation, certifying sub-contractors bills.
(b) ARCHITECTS INTERNATIONAL, OMAN - CONSULTANT
Post: Resident Engineer
Worked on the project of Qaboos Mosque at IBRA as the Resident Engineer. The Project involved the main Mosque, open car parks, landscaping, accommodation block for Imam.
Finishes: Marble floor and cladding, carpets, ceramic floor and wall tiles, Moroccan craved plaster and zellij works, G.R.C. screens, suspended ceilings.
Duties: Supervision, quality control, coordination with contractors, issuing site instructions and detailed sketches as and when required, maintaining complete work diary, progress meetings.
(c) TARGET LLC, OMAN - CONTRACTOR
Post: Project Engineer
Was in charge of 6 projects i.e. telephone exchange building projects on Sohar Road (Wudam Al Sahil, Al Khadhra, Hafeet, Al Auweyant, sur Al Marzarie and Abu Basqrah)
Each project involved the main exchange building, power annex, car park, landscaping and boundary wall. Contract value: about R.O 1.2 Millions.
Finishes: Ceramic tiles, PVC tiles, Terrazzo, clay tiles to facia, G.R.C Canopies.
Duties: Work schedules, material schedules, guiding site engineers/foremen, planning day to day activities, coordination with MEP contractors, quality control and dealing with consultants.
(d) DESERT LINE PROJECTS, OMAN -CONTRACTOR
Worked mainly in office.
Duties: Work schedules, material schedules, liaison with consultants, material approvals, looking after working drawings, technical guidance to execution staff.
D. 1982-1983 IN IRAQ MARKERS DEVELOPMENT SERVICES,
BAGHDAD, IRAQ - CONTRACTOR
Worked as site engineer on township project of 2003 precast houses, school, shopping centers, recreation centers, swimming pool and external work of services. Was in foundation department responsible for raft foundation, plinth wall and ground floor slabs.
