1. Helping the civil engineers for testing the consumable materials for the project including soil test, concrete strength, rebar bending and torsion tests and etc.
2. Controlling the quality of materials carried to the construction worksite based on the order list of the needed materials including controlling size and brand of rebar or controlling the originality of Knauf and etc.
3. Interpreting and reviewing codes and instructions; organizing and daily training manpower and site sources for implementing appropriate procedures of civil operations and correctly using machinery and instruments.
4. Suggesting an appropriate construction civil method regarding bylaw regulations and also concerning the capacity of construction site in terms of machinery, instruments, budget, and etc.
5. Responsible for the metal structures annexed to different sections of the project regarding the drawings and standards including implementing composite ceilings in concrete slabs or executing metal chassis of elevators pit regarding the standards related to elevators.
At Sara Accommodation and Business Project, Civil Engineering Technician shall help resident civil engineers at the construction site to carry out the construction operations including analyzing the drawings and estimating the needed materials for performing different items regarding the available drawings and standards as well as preparing the site space for performing the construction operations, supervising and controlling the construction works and technical manpower; preparing technical reports, tables and documents for civil engineers; reviewing and testing consumable items and materials for the project; choosing the appropriate equipment and instruments for better construction of civil operations are considered as other duties of Civil Engineering Technician.
