Responsibilities Overview: \nCisco/Brocade/Juniper Network/Systems Engineer with experience in computer systems, client/server architecture and various technologies. I have assisted in the maintenance and management of current wide area and local area networks. In addition, have performed research, analysis and recommendations for products and services as directed by the Management. i have assisted in the maintenance of comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks. \n• Hands on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing network devices and related software. \n• I have experience in a TCP/IP based network environment. \n• Familiar with IP Routing, LAN switching, Network sniffers, and network based file-systems. \n• I have experience in system documentation using MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Visio. \n• I possess in depth knowledge of "Vendors" networking (Wired/Wireless). Responsibilities: \n Major responsibility to handle ISIS BMW servers in two cities (Lahore and Islamabad). \n Deployed LAN infrastructure including VLANS, PRIVATE VLAN, STP, VTP, \n Implemented Redundancy protocol HSRP \n Configuration of DHCP \n Deployment of Access point \n Troubleshooting of 3560, 3550 switches \n SVI implementation for Multicast switching and for Layer 2 Tunnel protocol \n Tunnel connectivity with 2 cities \n Network Management. \n Responsible to manage Local Area Network, Network infrastructure of the Office in all aspects. \n Select, test, install, maintain and upgrade Servers & Client Systems \n Responsible for managing overall Network Security. \n Supervise Help Desk and provide technical support. \n Managing activities related of Network department. \n Responsible for document all procedures, suggestions, Warranty and maintenance Agreements and budgets for Network Department.
Provide comprehensive level 1 & 2 and basic level 3 support to 9 corporate office locations throughout Lahore City. \n Played key role in reducing helpdesk calls and escalations through the establishment of on-line and email educational resources, solution checklists, and proactive end-user training. \n Provide patient and efficient technical support, taking personal ownership of individual issues for all levels of employees with skill sets ranging from novice to power-PC users. \n Provide assistance in the design, installation, support, and management of multiple Cisco networks. Setup and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, and ASA firewalls.
