- Oversees construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
- Creates and reviews Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal and Change Orders.
- Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
- Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records.
- Performs change order estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
- Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
- Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
- Reports the status of projects to business and market leaders.
- Attend client program meetings as needed.
- Provides technical support to the Project Manager.
- Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors’ construction schedules.
- Coordinating all design works between civil, MEP, IT/ELV, and other systems involved in the BHS project.
- Monitor the quality and the safety on site in line with the QA/QC department.
- Participate in the progress meetings with the client and the consultant.
- Monitor projects total expenditure including verifying and checking invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Interaction with Project Managers and Contractors to develop schedules and achieve critical milestones.
- Control of contract and procurement costs
- Responsible for Monthly cost/planning status reports to Management
- Supervise and manage the erection team during the executing of the projects
- Follow-up management and technical supervision for the project’s assignments.
- Issue the necessary programs of erection through the construction
- Participate in (and manage as required) the procurement process for precast construction subcontractor(s)
- Work alongside other site and project engineers in managing the delivery of works at the precast yard.
- Produce layout plans, and shop drawings of precast concrete elements for production and submission to clients
