• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on daily basis.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences.
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction.
• Monitoring progress of the project & oversee the running operations of the construction project & make sure that it will meet the deadline.
• Preparing reports daily, weekly and monthly.
• Doings site inspection as per the IRs submitted by contractor.
• Make sure all civil activities are performed as per approved drawings and project specifications and in safe manner.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site manpower .
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
• Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Review and update the drawings to maje sure contractors are using the latest approved drawings.
• Coordinate the activities of the operating teams so that the work is carried out continuously, consistent with the work schedule
•Draft the daily production report
• Comply with the contents of the Technical Specifications of the individual types of work, applying the provisions of the Quality Control Plans
• Detect and report to the Site Manager any non-conformities, including those related to materials procured
• Check in advance and during the execution of work that equipment, work facilities, and individual and collective protective equipment are kept efficient, for the purpose of worker safety and health protection
• Support the Site Manager in ensuring the proper application of current safety, quality and environmental regulations and standards
• Report to the Site Manager any non-compliance by personnel reporting to him/her and situations that could pose an immediate and/or future hazard
• Monitor the routine and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, reporting any damage to it
• Support the Site Manager in the management of attendance, replacements and movements of site personnel by suggesting, where necessary, the mobility of personnel following significant reductions in production
