I had last year a 2 months summer internship in Beyti - A Joint Venture of Almarai & PepsiCo in the engineering department. Trained on dairy and juice manufacturing process helped having better understanding of the process and main components like piping and instrumentation diagram and scada systems participating in maintenance operation of pumps and sensors, and maintenance of automated filling and packaging machines from several vendors like combibloc, krones, FFS, asbo fill and others.
participated in an automation project under supervision of factory managers having role of process simulation, configuration and programming on PLC S7-300 using ladder digram and STL in warehouse palletizing operation and also emergency alarm system for operations critical alarms which need a fast response action.
with communication protocols of PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Industrial Ethernet and AS-Interface (AS-i) systems.
